I think its fine to have some shows where the women have less prominence and others where they have more. Same with tag teams etc. Change it up bit.

Oh, I agree that rotating people regularly is a thing they should do and train their audiences to get used to.

It's just hard not to think that the diminishing time for the women in the past few weeks is a result of the ratings fall, not just some regular rotating. I think a lot of people don't realize that this year's Road to Wrestlemania when they devoted so much time to the women (or more specifically, 3 of them) was probably the worst numbers they've done in any RTW in the past 15 or so years. Usually, January to April gets the highest ratings bump of the year. But, that didn't really happen this year at all. The numbers fell dramatically last fall and they stayed down pretty much all the way through to now, with only a few weeks doing marginally better than usual. Certainly nowhere close to 2018's Road to Wrestlemania numbers which were consistently high--even up over 2017.

Breaking down the numbers further, many of the 3rd hours which focused on the women showed a sharper drop than for 3rd hours devoted more to the men's segments. The all-Becky Raw they had in that one episode back February was a bit of a disaster too.

So it's hard not to speculate that the women are being blamed for the decline in the ratings these past 6 months.

so the brand split truly is dead right. Theirs Roman on both brands and we have the McMahon's vs Roman again, they're out of ideas.

The Usos at least got slightly better booking but still, its not good.

Also at least the women where in the main event. Asuka + Kairi should give the tag team division some legitimacy.

Daniel Bryan goes from WWE champ to kickoff show. Truly, nothing matters anymore.

Cynically, you can sort of tell the Asuka+ Kairi team could get a decent push as a team since it has Vince's fingerprints all over it (Paige + "Kabuki Warriors" LMAO). Dude is only interested in people when he has more creative involvement in their gimmick.

Smackdown ratings for the week are 1.827 Million, down 100k and lowest ever i believe.

They did go head to head with the NBA conference finals however.

I actually missed the last hour of SmackDown because of the Blazers/Warriors game. I'm not missing a game of this series.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

Dude, please let this be a tease only and Brock still goes after the Universal title. It doesn't seem like it but please align Dolph with Paul after he wins the WWE Title and give us the All-Am stable we've been calling for!!!

If Brock was gonna cash it in on Kofi, the opportunity was there for the picking after Dolph destroyed him.

They always do that though. Common sense isn't there, as always.

If Brock cashes in on Kofi I will lol'z so hard. If he does, he should just come out and straight cash in and destroy him. Kofi doesn't need to have a Match first and be beaten down. Brock should kick off the show, Cash in. A few suplexes, an f five and hit the plane back to Saskatchewan. I hate brock and I'd enjoy that

Wow Vince getting desperate calling Ziggler to comeback and give him a World Tittle feud. As a Ziggler fan I'm happy
but I also know it's not gonna lead to anything long term for him.

Well, the only reason Dolph is getting a shot is because KO refused to go into Saudi Arabia. Not desperate, just one of the few that isn't already booked that is willing to take the money for the match.

I hope he wins though. But him winning throws the KO-New Day feud out the door.

Otoh, rematch clauses are no more so this may be good.

Sad truth is the Kofi world title run was a nice gesture but just a flash in the pan gimmick that never had real run potential. He's just not a world champion.
