It'll be interesting to see how they will play it off tonight.

Every match will be a exploding ring, barbed-wire bat death match. <kidding>

Seriously, I hope they don't try to wipe it away under the rug, but I can't think of a good way to address it. Maybe have Tony Kahn take one for the team.

Hopefully they come up with something interesting for Christian to do.

There have been way too many face/heel turns, it's all over shadowed each, and been hard to keep up with. QT turned heel, Scorpio turned heel, Inner Circle turned face, Kingston turned face.

I know AEW suspends the whole face / heel turn thing, which I'm all for, but these moments are still pivotal for those characters and need more build.

When the Inner Circle came out doing there thing with Jericho as the front man, I was looking to see - Where's Wardlow? Where's Wardlow? It kinda gave away that trickery was afoot.

Might watch on DVR later, but reading a recap and like how they played off the misfire on Sunday.

I was hoping for a Wardlow exit from the inner circle and a face turn.
He's awesome.

Man, I agree with people saying AEW was fortunate that spot was given to Kingston, only he can salvage that embarrassing mishap. His and Jon's segment was a seamless transition from that blunder and integrated coherently to a storyline

Kingston saved it, but Callis ruined it again with his promo.

That was a pretty good episode of Dynamite; probably their best since the week after Winter is Coming.

I’m not sold on Cody feuding with Penta. Feels like a huge step down, IMO. Since they weren’t building the Cody v Shaq feud every week, it’s felt like they haven’t had anything for Cody in a while. Also, I didn’t really get the way Penta called him out — it looked like Penta was all of a sudden doing commentary at an alternate announce table that we’ve never seen before ? Not a huge deal but it felt out of place.

Sting and Archer could be interesting, but I was hoping they’d follow up on Cody’s interaction with him — otherwise, what was the point of their initial interaction?

Anyway, quality show with more serious segments than not, and matches with a story behind it.

Cody vs. Penta is an excellent choice of a feud to write Cody off for some time.
Cody has a nagging injury to his shoulder and Penta is known for his 'destruction' of arms/shoulders/...

Perfect set-up.

Interesting. I didn’t know that was a thing with Penta. Was that ever mentioned on Dynamite? Because I wasn’t at all privy to it.

I think it was, because otherwise I wouldn't have ever known that.

Hm, okay. Perhaps they have then? I haven’t really missed many Lucha Bro/Penta matches and I can’t recall anyone ever referencing that being a thing with Penta. AEW does have a habit of assuming their audience knows things about certain wrestlers even when it hasn’t been mentioned on their show, fwiw (but I could be wrong).

But more to the point, I feel like Cody’s one of their main event guys (Injured or not) and going against a kid-card tag team wrestler feels like a lukewarm, out of place feud. But I’ll give it a chance — Penta’s okay in my book, so this could elevate him a little.

Penta's Lucha Underground run was one of my favorite wrestling runs ever. He just put on banger after banger and broke like half the arms in the company.

My favorite moment was when he was disguised as a fan in the crowd and revealed himself right behind Cage before laying him out with a disgusting chair shot.

I like how after an "Exploding Barbwire Death Match" Omega and Moxley both didn't even have as much as
a scratch on their face also both didn't even have a limp or anything. What was funny was during the match
when Moxley went into the fake barbwire he didn't even have a scratch on his back like nothing happened.
I watched the match back and it's kinda good but also kind of ridiculous at the same time. Still I hope the match
makes it into the new video game but I wonder if we'll ever see it in North America again?

As for the new MJF stable... I like a Stable vs. Stable rivalry but to be honest I'm not really a big fan of any
of these guys except for Jericho. I like FTR as workers and Sammy and Wardlow have some good upside but
for the most part it's just a bunch of guys that don't do anything for me.

Wow!!!! Now that was an amazing episode all around. And the main event more than delivered. Makes me happy, the ladies definitely realized the importance of that match. This match was a huge moment for this division.

I’m just a really happy fan, I’ve been pulling for this division non stop.
