Hell of an episode for me, anyone agree?

Stitching the Drew-Dolph past to present was smart. Ziggler may be smaller but he sure as hell is talented and Drew acknowledged that, establishing him as a viable opponent. Also knows McIntyre well with their history. Great, simple promo from both.

Rey and Dominik segment pushed me to the edge of my seat (lol exaggerating but still). Was legit worried they'll injure another eye. Mixing Humberto and Black also made sense. They really booked this so well. Anyway this storyline goes should be good. Weekly cliffhangers where the heels almost get one over the faces.

And boy, that Big Show and Orton segment was INTENSE. Randy shined in there. Goes to show how legendary his character work is. He delivers promos where you know where he's going and predict what he's gonna say and go nuts when he says what you're thinking (eg. that "..a legend" line to Big Show gave me chills). And you'd think why he would need Flair when he's already this dangerous makes it more intriguing.

I'd honestly rate this show with an A-, just because of the horrible Lana-Natalya storyline, costing Liv another match.

Tag Title Match was great as well. And Charlotte tapping to Asuka says a lot about their trust with Asuka as champ.

Damn I even forgot the Women's Tag. Thay sequence for the IIconics double team to the Banks Statement was beautiful. And the promo after that, swerve tease for Bayley then challenging Asuka was genius.

Charlotte injured.
That's why the Nia segment was put in.

Yes, best Raw episode this year that I can remember. I also liked Edge's promo. While most of he said was predictable, his hate for Orton was palpable. Luckily I nodded off when Natalya showed up. And any episode with Asuka vs Charlotte is going to be at least good. This was much better than good.

Yea people tend to forget, that a motivated and engaged Orton is a very strong worker both in the ring and psychologically. It's just that over the years when he's not involved in top storylines, he sorta mails it in. Right now he's invested and it's money.

Yup, she is having surgery, and it's got nothing to do with the booked injury of her shoulder. We do not know what the surgery is for.

But it does seem like she's been over-worked.

Surprised no one is talking about this episode. Heath Slater coming out was great. Hoping it's not just a one time shot and hes brought back.

Didn't watch this week but i did see that they unveiled a new U.S title and it actually looks really good (best belt they've unveiled, basically all their other replacements where massive downgrades on their previous version, this is the first actual upgrade).

Agreed; the title looks great. Doesn't rely on the features of classic titles to look good. A great example of what a good modern looking title can be.

Solid solid episode. Opening is in my Top 10 for the year already. Almost in tears when Drew picked up and hugged Heath, plus the 3 fist bump. Heath is looking jacked as well. Re-signed or not, I hope he does well wherever he goes. He looks like a total package right now, probably drop the generic face act and turn.

Who would've thought MVP would be one of RAW's main attraction for 2020, damn. He's pulling a Seth but as a more organic character of himself. Loving his recruitment process as well, targeting neglected, talented talents, but a mix of up and comers and vets. Is it also safe to assume he's only getting African American wrestlers? Really excited for this. And oh, the belt is majestic.

Is it just me who is loving Bayley's character? Really annoying and it works. I hate her but she makes me laugh. "ASUKA! YOUR PARTNER SUCKS!" So simple yet effective.

Rey-Seth story is a bit dragging but at least we get the climax soon. Waiting for the swerve, if there's any.

Damn so many great storytelling (for WWE standards). Ilconics climbing the ranks as a team and establishing themselves as singles stars as well, Ruby's road to redemption, probably aligning with Liv soon, Kairi is back, Sasha quietly dominating, etc

Ricochet and Aleister though. Completely lost even if you say Puma has a partner and Black is in the Rey storyline, but still smart by Prichard to involve them somewhere.

After coasting for years and being on cruise control Randy Orton has stepped up his game
and been the MVP of the pandemic era.

Damn shame on me I forgot about Randy!

That sequence where he got pissed at Garza was excellent. That's a simple rub to push a guy like Angel

Is it weird that I'm excited for Shelton Benjamin as 24/7 Champ? If MVP's serious about making the titles relevant and prestigious again, I'm all for it. Make that 24/7 title the Hardcore again.

Interesting that Lashley's being utilized as the muscle but is still being considered the client for future world title reigns. Love the diversity. And Ron Simmons cameo could be a foreshadowing of another NOD?

Ron did more talking last night - giving advice like an elder statesman - than he has in the last decade combined...

Damn!

Ya know who looked really good was Mustafa. The difference between his athleticism vs MVP's was palpable - MVP is ridiculously slow at this point in his career. Benjamin looked a bit slower than usual - not sure if that's because he's asked to be more deliberate as part of a heel group that's much bigger than their opponents. I always wanted to see him and Morrison team up because of their in-ring athleticism - now, I don't know - and obviously they don't shine on the mic. One who I thought did shine on the mic was Bianca. It'll be interesting if she and Ruby can be an effective team.

Bianca Belair is the complete package. They need to build their women's division around her asap.
