Re: NXT Thread II
That dude Dylan Miley is a freakin beast. Apparently he has been the Performance Centers best kept secret for a while now. Triple H and many others see the next Brock Lesner in him. Expect a monster push for him in the next few months.

Name doesn't go with the looks imo. The surname bugs me.

That was an awesome debut by him.
And that McIntyre/Orcan match was a lot of fun too. Made me wonder how they got rid of Drew in the 1st place if he looked that good in the ring

Drew needed the time away to develop himself on the Indys. He is in tremendous shape now, a better talker and overall better wrestler. It is not a bad thing to let these guys go to gain experience while they are young. If they succeed the doors are always open to come back to WWE. Bo Dallas might be someone who could benifit from this path if the WWE cant find anything for him in the near future.

Yea it does sound a little soft for someone you want to peg as a monster.

I remember him being mentioned a couple years back and how he was the best overall athlete on the roster at the time.

Re: NXT Thread II
They should do what they did with Jason Jordan with Dylan Miley. Just keep giving him crappy tag team partners until he finds the right one.
Roderick Strong would be a good fit with Miley as a face team. Strong has nothing going on, is as generic as can be, putting him with Miley would make him interesting.
I can see Miley and Strong being the team to be the Authors of Pain.
In a few years when Miley is ready for a singles run you can easily have him turn on Strong to make him a monster heel.

Miley looks like they could market him as a modday Bruno.

I think they want to position him as a singles guy rather than a tag guy. Which, for a guy who looks like that, makes perfect sense. I think the only reason that he started out in a tag match was because pitting him against DIY gets people watching, and he also got a chance to go toe to toe with the tag champs and look strong, which was worth a lot more than squashing some worthless jobber.

Re: NXT Thread II
The question I have about Miley is if he's actually picking up wrestling, because iirc he came into NXT at the same time as Braun Strowman. For Miley to just now be making his tv debut makes me wonder if he's taking more time to train than you'd hope.

Yeah, I think headlines saying he's just being kept away from the attention to groom is bull. You'd want publicity to add viewers to NXT. Then again, this is NXT, where they don't rush development. Probably cautious that he won't be a flop.

he certainly does, but he'd benefit from staying in NXT and learning more.
He could use a year in NXT to have a proper NXT title run down the line and to main event NXT.
Kinda hard when they have him jobbing all the time

Re: NXT Thread II
There's a difference between "jobbing" and getting squashed. Some people act as though because Almas loses big matches that he's made to look weak when that's not the case. He looks impressive in all of his matches, whether he wins or not. And considering casual fans don't really even pay attention to NXT that much, he could be called up without much baggage. His main problem is that he can barely speak English. That's his biggest barrier between getting a huge push and not. Kinda hard to push a guy that can't communicate with a large part of the audience.

If we're talking divas that remind me of porn stars, then Dana Brooke reminds me of a more muscular Bridgette B

Almas/McIntyre and Bate/Gallagher on tap for tonight. Should be a great show.
