Yeah using him to give Wyatt a push would be a good route. My guess is though he opens the show and runs through a bunch of catchphrases and makes some sort of "major announcement"

But your plan is far better. I mean I would go to it right as he says "Finally..."

I'll admit to being a huge Rock mark back in the day but yeah this is lame. This was the obvious play since the show is named after his catchphrase and all, but....

Now give me the unexpected Punk return and you got something....
Punk did mention in one of his interviews that Dwayne should call him on Friday, in reference to the phone call he made to Punk last time he was in Staples.

Speaking of Punk:

I watched the Pipe Bomb promo the other day. Does not hold up. Comes off as really corny in 2019.

The Fiend didn't attack Stone Cold or Taker, so Dwayne is safe.
Should've attacked Flair and Hogan on monday.

I don't know about that. Rock seems more likely to take an attack from the Fiend than Austin. No one ever gets one over on Austin.

Rock will probably do something with RR to prop him up some more for Vince.

I still remember when Roman was so not over that the fans were booing Rock and he had no idea what to do.

Speaking of Roman, just saw a Smackdown commercial during the Thursday night game where the talent they listed for tomorrow's show was Rock, Roman, Stone Cold, a few other legends, and Brock Lesnar. Stuff like this is why people hate Roman. They just try too f*cking hard to make him seem important.

Surprised no one is mentioning about the impending Roman-Brock feud for the nth time.

Now that I have four hours of good wrestling on Wednesday I don't have to ever watch Raw or Smackdown again.

Didn't he just start a feud with Mysterio and is kind of in one with Kofi right now?

Yep. Wednesday is the new Monday. Raw/SD are like Thunder and WCW Saturday night.

Agree with the poster who said The Fiend should attack the Rock. He's supposed to be a heel, can't get much more heel than that.

If you're not watching WWE shows you probably shouldn't be posting your hatred about them on what seems to be a daily basis. Find something more positive to do with your life.

Honestly i think a lot of it still kind of holds true, a lot of the problems he talks about with modern WWE absolutely exist (Vince being an impediment on his own product, HHH may not be a doofus however). The only thing is that Vince is a whole lot richer, but that isn't really because of the quality of the product (rather, smart and shady business decisions).

Wait, surely they won't do this again, like come on haven't we suffered enough with this rubbish feud over the last 3 years, get someone else in that slot and finally just give up on Roman as a main eventer (cause he just isn't at that level, i'm sorry, he's a good wrestler but not a marathon guy and he doesn't have the mic ability or charisma really to be that top guy, a top heel maybe if given the right gimmick with the right manager, but not the top guy).

Well, fair enough. I'm commenting on it as a wrestling promo rather than a polemic. As a promo, it's not rewatchable, especially now.

What a moment. KO with the Vince line to Vince's son then an old school Stunner to cap it off. What a call back.
