I wonder how much time Zayn has left on his deal. Feels like we’ve seen the last of him in wwe

I'm excited for the tournament though. Not sure how the bracket would be but I'm assuming the following will participate:

Shinsuke Nakamura
Antonio Cesaro
Sheamus
Jeff Hardy
Shorty G
King Corbin
Robert Roode
Dolph Ziggler
Elias Samson
Baron Corbin
Daniel Bryan
Drew Gulak

Man I'd go with anyone there that pool is so deep. Can't see anyone jobbing for someone to advance to the tournament.

Keep it with the Artist Collective though. I want Cesaro to win. Or Jeff, before his last push in the main event scene.

And this decision made by WWE is another factor not to sign a new deal...

It could be physical problems that are the biggest issue as to whether or not he wrestles in WWE. He's had lots of injuries - particularly with his shoulders.

I’ve read that there’s reports that he’s difficult to deal with backstage, which is pretty much code for him not being a zombie yes man with management.

When did Sonya Deville get so good at cutting promos? The Mandy/Sonya story is one of the best things going right now.

Also, that Forgotten Sons promo was great as well. Being American soldiers expected to be showered with praise when they return, but instead are met with indifference when told they still have to earn respect in the real world. Pretty real gimmick.

Tbf, the program with Bryan was a great run to go out with.

Yes, this decision was very surprising. But he is a better wrestler on the free agent market, so he will surely get a new employer (e.g. NJPW or AEW).

Yeah, I think that dramatically increased his value in the industry. He went from cruiserweight specialist to legit star with potential for even more growth. Good for Drew.

No he is gone, he is only the "training partner"

There's probably a bunch of WWE rasslers who'd love to take over the role of being Bryan's "training partner". It'd sure be a step up in gimmicks for Chad Gable - hint to WWE - you owe him.

Its so weird honestly. double a developmental deal is still not that much in the grand scheme of things, especially for a guy appearing on TV every week. I don't think its exactly ridiculous to request that given that the talent have to pay for travel and all other associated expenses.

I think what he's requesting would still put him towards the bottom end of the main roster pay.

Either way Gulak should be fine, even if he doesn't end up in AEW (cause i doubt he does, then again they hired Hager and Spears and Gulak is much better than either), i could see him making decent money in the NWA or even Impact. Its a shame he can't really go overseas cause he'd fit very well with either NOAH or New Japan.

Michael Cole said the AJ was traded to SmackDown for superstars to be named later. Glad they went with a trade for the reason he's there instead of the stupid invitation crap.

Which sounds 100 times better than Styles vs Sheamus. Good decision by WWE.

Spoiler:
https://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.php?id=136707

Matt Riddle will be debuting on SmackDown soon. I'd like it if he somehow got in the Intercontinental Championship tournament. Have Sheamus take out Jeff or Corbin take out Elias. Riddle takes their spot and his first two matches are against AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan. Two potential bangers. Putting the title on him having him go over those two would skyrocket him.
