Matt Riddle will be debuting on SmackDown soon. I'd like it if he somehow got in the Intercontinental Championship tournament. Have Sheamus take out Jeff or Corbin take out Elias. Riddle takes their spot and his first two matches are against AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan. Two potential bangers. Putting the title on him having him go over those two would skyrocket him.

Spoiler:
It's been Groundhog Day the way NXT is using him - always waiting for whoever his tag-team partner is to turn on him. Even Smackdown can use him better than NXT has.

I hopes he german suplexes Strowman and they show everyone in the back with their mouths open, flabbergasted of what they've just seen.

Good idea!

The beginning of smackdown was much better than the last raw episode as a whole.

Welp, he's not in the battle royal. Missed opportunity.

That was a horrendous match. I'm glad he wasn't in it.

I think next week Corbin should go out and interrupt Riddle, setting up a match at Backlash.
Then at Backlash Riddle knees him in the face the second the bell rings and wins the match in emphatic fashion.

Pretty excited for Bryan vs Styles tonight. The IC title being on one of those two instantly makes it more relevant. Hope they go with Bryan and have him do weekly open challenges.

AJ should be Braun's next feud.

How did AJ work his way back into the IC title tournament ? Didn’t Gulak beat him a few weeks ago ?

Man that photo op with Style with the IC belt. It's like the title was made for him, looks great.

Also, still selling his left shoulder injury. That's dedication right there.

Great Match between Bryan and Styles. The match quality was so high, for me, it's not so important who carries now the belt.
I don't know how Edge and Randy Orton will show a better match on sunday...
