It was puzzling really. I get Jeff is getting set for a push (we got No More Words back!) but really? At the expense of your most dominant NXT champ to date?

It is a punishment of some sort for sure. Can they just drop this form of disciplinary action and just have them pay a fine, my goodness...

Let’s have a guy who hasn’t been pinned in a year debut without his full entrance (best feature), without his valet, and have him lose in 2 minutes. Brilliance.

I honestly wouldn’t be shocked to learn later this week that he failed a drug test or something. This was simply a burial.

It's just so weird to me that the WWE consistently gets these NXT debuts wrong. I mean, they have done a very good job with Balor, Nakamura & KO debuts so I know they can get it right but it's almost like Vince is just trolling HHH at this point.

Glad Keith Lee is back. Kinda hope he joins The Hurt Business. Maybe give him a trajectory similar to Drew's on the main roster. I can see Lashley dropping the title to Big E eventually. Then maybe have Lee and Lashley be tag champs or something. But the story would be there for Lee to turn face like Drew did with Dolph.

Vince up to his old tricks again burying Karrion Kross and making Nikki Cross champion.

I'm not even a Karrion Kross fan but taking Scarlett away from his entrance which was one of the
best in the company and making him lose his debut to an old 40's mid card druggie in Jeff Hardy
isn't the debut you have for the NXT champion.

I was thinking with this new AEW Rampage show debuting I'm already at my max with how much weekly
wrestling content I wanna watch for the week even before Rampage I wanted to dial back a bit but I
didn't know what show to cut out.

I think the answer has been made by Vince for me investing in NXT has become a waste of time like
watching NXT UK or 205 Live. The NXT championship means nothing I don't even know if it's developmental
anymore what are you "developing" when gimmicks and talent that are over just continue to get destroyed
on arrival.

Good follow up show. Only things I’ll say are this:

1. You debut Karrion Kross and have him lose immediately. No.
2. Keith Lee comes back and is dominated by Lashley. No. Fans have been clamoring for him and were excited to see him back. They could’ve worked a program.
3. Three hours is still too long for a show. You inevitably get some noticeable filler for a show this long, and it’s impossible to keep a hot crowd all throughout the show.

It was an overall good show but with some terrible moments. Like previously said, making Lee and Kross look weak was an insanely bad move. Fix those two things and that RAW was probably the best they had in years.

I had absolutely no problem with Lee and Cross losing. It makes sense to bring in newcomers slowly and build them up over time. It's also pretty obvious that Lee needs to get in better shape, and Cross needs a lot of improvement. Cross was physically dominant in NXT, but he looks smaller on Raw because even low to mid-carders like Elias and Ryker are almost as big and even more muscular. Hardy cheated to win, so it hardly hurts Cross at all and gives him a wake-up call that he's gotta work on his skills.

I don't know, I'm okay with Lee losing. He just lost to a champion who decimated a previous champ just 24 hours ago. He did look good still. And, consider he just came from a long layoff, logically, it the right move

Nikki ASH winning is a merch move more than anything else I believe

Tbf, the almost a superhero thing is over, so why not.
Also, the womens' divison is completely on the ropes, so why not do something else?

Lee losing was logical, because Lashley is portrayed as an absolute monster at the moment.
Can't expect Lee to win immediately, but putting him against Lashley shows he means business with his comeback.

Kross losing was dumb imo, but I think HArdy is getting destroyed in the coming weeks.

And one last thing. Omos and Styles are faces, not heels.

There was said to be a lot of “shock and frustration” within WWE NXT over NXT Champion Karrion Kross losing his official main roster debut match to Jeff Hardy on last night’s RAW.

As noted, Kross came out with the NXT Title and dominated Hardy for the most part, but came up short. Kross, who was not accompanied by Scarlett, cut a post-match promo and warned that Hardy just made the biggest mistake of his career, indicating that the feud will continue. WWE built Kross up during the broadcast with vignettes and praise from the announcers, so the loss came as a major surprise to fans watching in the arena and at home.

In an update, several NXT talent and staff were reportedly shocked and frustrated with the loss, according to Fightful Select. There was reportedly significant frustration over how Finn Balor, Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Santos Escobar, Oney Lorcan and others had worked hard to help make Kross as dominant as possible during his NXT run.

The general mood among some in NXT was a “not mad, disappointed” vibe, as they felt like this represented how the NXT brand is viewed by WWE higher-ups as a whole. It was noted by one source that the loss felt like a message being sent, though they didn’t elaborate on what they thought the message was.

Lol Matt. That was wonderful!

Kidding aside, some theories are floating that the idea came from Cross being it was his birthday and could be a fan of Hardy's, especially with the return of the No More Words theme.

I know it's an L, but still Jeff cheated, something that would make sense as any opponent would not expect it from Hardy resorting to tricks to get the upper hand

I actually liked his kind of expressionless demeanor in the face of Goldberg. Kind of no-selling him with a hint of annoyance.

That being said, after that opening segment, the rest of the show did nothing for me. 3 hours is so long, and the show is so sorely lacking in star power or interesting events.

So much filler and yeah, absolutely no star power whatsoever. It felt like a show with just mid-card acts the entire time outside of the opening segment. The three hours just drag on and on and on too. It also doesn't help that creative is just content with rematch after rematch every week.
