Much more effort being put into writing SD than Raw. its so painfully obvious

Sports are hurting in ratings these days and other shows too, but not Smackdown for the time being. I wonder why. Though after Wrestlemania I am worried.

Bad episode tonight. Just seemed meh to me outside of Murphy vs Seth. Why no Lars Sullivan. Sidenote: did Carmella go out and buy some tits when she was away?

Anyone else feel like the intro of Roman last night was a subtle jab at how Justin Roberts has been introducing Kenny Omega in AEW? I could be reaching but it’s the first thing I thought of when Charlie (or Kayla ?) was listing his accomplishments on the way to the ring.

The piped in crowd noise is way overdone. I could barely hear Roman speaking.

Shinsuke has been a massive disappointment in his WWE career. I can't say him losing to Otis bothers me.

I'm okay with the World Series being shown over Smackdown, but a college football game which wasn't a bowl game being shown is wrong. I say this as a fan of college football.

The last two matches for the women's title have helped ratings. I'm hoping Ripley and Lynch come to Smackdown along with the women's tag team title, and they get pushed as equals with the men. One Championship match per month sounds like a good idea.

The reigns heel turn is the only thing interesting in the wwe but the nwoish beat downs every week are starting to get stale.

I loved it this week.
I think overall it was a good Smackdown, of course with some down points, because it's WWE and they need shenanigans.

Curious what they'll do with Nakamura. A final 'push' with a squash as punishment before he leaves?

411 mania has been giving it many 6's(out of 10), a few 7's, and a few 8's lately. It's not 2002 Smackdown but at least one wrestling critic seems happy.

I feel like SD has been watchable for a while now. I do think they got hosed in the draft though which has made it a little worse.

Reigns, Uso, and Heyman remind of Hogan, Disciple, and Bischoff when they came out together during the nwo days.

The Disciple being a roided up Brutus the Barber Beefcake - Hogan's buddy. By all accounts, Bruti was a likable guy and handy with scissors, but he had so little talent.

I feel like Heyman has helped the show almost as much as Roman. If they're hinting at him getting involved with the women's division I'm all for it. If Roman and Uso get split up with the draft and Heyman is on both shows, I really can't complain.

Jey Uso winning the rumble and going for McIntyre at Wrestlemania and actually winning.
Only to have Roman appear at Raw after Wrestlemania to demand Uso to surrender the title to him, so Roman is the head of the table of Smackdown and Raw.

Also, Sami Zayn is the best.

I'm way behind and just catching up on Smackdown now...

And I wanna mention Seth Rollins and say this "Messiah" gimmick has been a total fail and he's not pulling it off at all.
I thought it had good potential at the beginning with AOP and Murphy but it just went up in flames.

Also he's not good on the mic at all and it's not so much the verbiage I think it's his raspy voice and he goes on way to
long. Also the ponytail bun and jacket I know he's trying to get heat with it and look like a guy you want to see get his
ass kicked but it just looks "Wrestling stupid" like change the channel heat.

I was so high on Rollins when he first debuted in WWE the first 2 years and for the most part accolades wise he's lived up
to the hype with what he's accomplished. But after his last failed baby face run flop and now this he doesn't feel special
anymore he's also become stale and boring and another guy in this era that's a good worker but can't connect as a character
and just feels like a dime a dozen guy who can have solid matches but not much else.
