Re: WWE SmackDown Discussion II
Harper vs Rowan surely are taking it off of the Usos at Mania.
Also on the New Day, i don't think they need to turn, they just need to go full force on this Kofi Kingston world championship crusade thing. have them do training montages, rocky style (with new day comedy in between of course) and have him eventually win the title, even if he's just a transition champ.

Tweet that at Xavier, because that would be awesome.
And even if they never make him champ, as long as he gets a title shot a few times where he comes close (sure I'd love to see Kofi be champ, or even a transition champ, but we all know Vince loves big sweaty men) and it's just within reach. Styles v Kofi would be fun to watch, I'm sure they'd have great chemistry in the ring together.

Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

Couldnt agree more, I just coming here to post this. There run is over. The Pancakes have crossed that line of too stupid. Big E deserves a bit more of a look in a singles career and Kofi and Xavier... who cares
Xavier could do great in 205 if they broke them up
My favorite version of New Day was when they were heels, I'd prefer to see if them turn back before breaking up yet. I've assumed for a while they're Cena status though. They make too much on merchandise and I figure nobody is turning kids into new wrestling fans more than them right now. So Vince may never turn them heel ever again.

Re: WWE SmackDown Discussion II
I've always had this idea where New Day stays together but all go for separate titles:
Big E - Universal or WWE
Kofi - Intercontinental or United States
Xavier - Cruiserweight
You can switch Big E and Kofi, but I think Big E would be one entertaining as hell Universal or WWE Champion.

Re: WWE SmackDown Discussion II
So Owens vs. Zayn at Wrestlemania? Zayn was laying it on a little thick with the laying down stuff, which usually ends up an indicator of the opposite. Plus it doesn't look like they can face the Usos if their Bludgeon Brothers match is at Wrestlemania not Fast Lane
Similar to Orton/Wyatt storyline? Zayn was faking it the whole time so he could get his ultimate revenge on Owens. Not sure I love it - I feel like it would be fairly undercard match at WM and even if the roles are reversed, Owens in a "friend turns on each other" storyline is still tired
Which one of Orton or Roode is turning heel? I'm gonna say Roode and the plan the whole time with his US title has been for him to eventually turn into the Miz and talk about how he elevates US title and SD to the next level. Jinder's promos have been good in this storyline

Re: WWE SmackDown Discussion II
Cena beat styles, ok then m8. Yeah lets make this match even more convaluted. I really hope they're not going with Owens vs Zayn again tbh, i mean their isn't going to be a title on the line so they'll probably put it on the pre-show, which in this case, don't even bother with it then. I'd much rather something like Shane + HHH/Vince himself vs the duo, at least it would get them over, big time. They also seem pretty intent atm of killing off Zayn's momentum. In short, the world title scene is trash and everyone has lost momentum from this feud (except Ziggler and Corbin who both had none to begin with).
the womans scene is beyond dead also, so much for that womans revolution (just book them like you would the men, no need for special treatment, the storylines don't have to change all that much)
bludgeon brothers is about the only thing i'm really intrigued about at the moment.
also Rusev does need to ask for a release. Don't do a Ryder or Ziggler, do a 2-3 years on the independants/roh/new japan and i bet you WWE will bring him back, make him NXT champ immediately.

Bruh, just because someone isn't getting used correctly doesn't mean they need to ask for a release. I'm sure they're very happy with the money they're making.

I'm kinda shocked that the Usos never competed at Wrestlemania.
Also great promos by them and Big E.

I really hope they push Big E to the moon. He's got everything.
I'd love a Big E/Roman Reigns Universal Championship feud this year. You don't even have to break up New Day, Big E as a face champion with Kofi and Xavier behind him is money.

Re: WWE SmackDown Discussion II
Surprised they added Cena to the 6 way, instead of doing a Cena vs Nakamura match for #1 contender at Fast Lane. That seemed the perfect fit, the storyline is the same for Cena and Nakamura needs to be on the card, and Fast Lane gets its 2nd biggest match. I assume Nak faces Rusev now?
They kind of stretched it with that line, they've had Wrestlemania matches but it was always on the pre show. That multi team match where one of the Usos was injured so they got rid of him in first 30 seconds, and facing the Dudleys are the two I remember. I wasn't sure New Day had even been on a main card either for the same reason, but I just looked it up and somehow them vs League of Nations made it on

Great main event even if it stepped on the Fast Lane match a bit. Nice video package for New Day vs Usos. Carmella looked as strong as I've seen her. Orton throwing a SIngh brother on the table is still the best

I was expecting that type of ending for Fast Lane. Problem with doing something like that on tv is - have they blown their load before the PPV?
Carmella actually looked fierce - I was impressed. Of course, part of that was because she didn't sell most of Becky's offense... so a lot of what made her look good was because she did it against a very talented and unselfish opponent.

He's short. It's stupid but it actually could keep him away from his full potential. That's how vince operates

But has Big E ever had a really good singles match? Compare his in-ring skills to Rusev and Joe - guys who are roughly the same height and weight - maybe Joe's a couple inches taller. I don't see him being in their league at this point. That was a good promo he did the other day with the Usos. I never heard him being that formidable and serious before. I'm not a fan of his comic side.

Good to see Becky pick up a singles win.
I really hope they aren't planning to have Carmella successfully cash-in at WM for a cheap pop/heat though. You can't start building her like a month away from WM after she's been off TV for months at a time. MITB winners have to have SOME momentum for a successful cash-in, or it would be like basically giving a title to a jobber.

She's servicable and adds some solid depth to the talent on the roster. Is she championship material? Not at this point, imo.

I think that remains to be seen. This is the first chance she's had to have a significant one on one match with a great talent.

Right, it's all about scouting and projections at this point.
