Is that a thing that's really happening tonight? If so, I'm looking forward to it also. CJ Parker is a freaking team player man. Just getting squashed by any and everyone but doing it without acting like a bitch.

I am also a fan of CJ, in that I hate his guts.

that's a man that's good at his job.

There's a rumour going around that the Briscoes may be headed WWE soon.

Rumour and may.

Riley looked really good last night. He's got a chance at a comeback if they book him right. I'd like to hear a few promos from him to see if he's still got it. He was pretty good on the mic when he was partnered with The Miz.

Reading Stroud's Best/Worst article for this week's NXT and he starts it off with this gem...

"Colin Cassady tag teaming with what is more or less a really flamboyantly obnoxious foreign object...

I’ve written about it a bit before, but Cass and Enzo have the perfect tag team dynamic. You think it’s little guy/big guy, but it’s not about that. It’s a little guy who can’t wrestle but has endless confidence teaming with a giant guy who could beat anybody in the company if he had any confidence whatsoever. They’re two halves of a whole, and that’s what a great tag team should be. Also, they called the Lucha Dragons the GEICO Lizards and told them they should save them 15% or more on car insurance or get out of their way. Remove Carmella and get them to the ring fast enough to add fresh dialogue to their entrance singalong and they’re perfect."

That first line is hilarious to me. Overall, he's pretty spot on about them.

yeah def gotta respect CJ for being "that" guy. Remember some months back when Seth called him out for being one of the better workers or guys on that roster (not a direct quote) and it was a headscratcher at the time but i can see why he'd mention him now.

Time to catch up on last night's episode. Kalisto by himself is a lot more enjoyable than with Sin Cara. His energy doesn't get undermined by Sin Cara's complete lack of interest. This stage setup and lighting all looks top notch, even in a small thrown-together setting like a convention center. WWE's production is out of this world. I can't wait until they do the NXT show at the old ECW arena this summer. That is going to be a special show.

One of the things I love about NXT crowds is that they don't take themselves as seriously as RAW crowds tend to. I mean an entire crowd full of dudes chanting "Breeze is gorgeous" is hilarious to me.

they maintain that indy vibe which i think helps the atmosphere and the performers. I couldn't see Breeze getting over this much as quickly as he did on the main roster.

Definitely. I think (could be wrong) that the same vibe could be fostered on the bigger level with the right booking.

Back to the show, Enzo and Cass are so ridiculously over right now. I think their gimmick would work without much resistance on the main roster. Enzo just keeps getting better on the mic.

GODDAMNIT OWENS IS SO GOOD!!!

Kudos to Riley too. Even though the match was essentially a squash, he still looked good in the little bit of offense he did get in, and he sold the beatdown really well.

And holy hell, we get Finn Balor vs. Owens next week. That is going to be very special. Those 2 guys are so over with the crowd, I imagine it just being a 30 minute "This is awesome!" chant.

Sasha is great at entrances.

Bliss has a lot of her moves down, but she has a ways to go before she looks comfortable in the ring. She's a good talker though!

Speaking of entrances, Blake & Murphy's entrance this past episode was pretty badass. They just kept doing cool stuff, from the sliding down the rail of the stairs and then the way they get into the ring, it all looked pretty good.
