He does look like a slightly smaller version of Lesnar. Tough break for Lumis - getting injured just when he's getting the biggest push of his career. Both these guys aren't kids - they're into their 30's.

Re: NXT Thread III
So I guess WWE found Velveteen Dream is innocent? That's good news. Future is still bright for him if he really is innocent.

Re: NXT Thread III
The strange thing is that V. Dream admitted not asking about the accusations by WWE. Apparently WWE tries to kick this topic into the long grass.

It sure looked like Holland botched a powerslam on Gargano. If so, he needs a lot more training. Gargano looked okay and finished the match well, but... a fubar like that can end a career. Ridge Holland has a GREAT look, but I'm not sure he's as fluid an athlete as he needs to be - to be someone you can trust in the ring.

Re: NXT Thread III
Gotta say I love the McAfee vs Cole promos, and McAfee is better at promos than maybe anyone from NXT and has a good look, but what training does he have? He's an ex-punter - not a linebacker. How does it make sense for them to have a match? Still, I bet it'll be fun.

Re: NXT Thread III
The best promo came from a non WWE guy.
Who would've thought?
They really need to stop with the scripted promos. It's so annoying.
Can't wait though to see Cole kick that McAfee guy in the head.

Also, Cameron Grimes should win the North American Title.
Also, they ruined the Lee vs Cross angle for me after that 'fire bolt' ****

Chris Candido used to have the catch-phrase "no gimmics needed". If there's anyone in NXT who doesn't need gimmics, it's Kross. He doesn't need fireballs or his wife doing whatever she does in his intros. It feels like too much too soon.

Wow wonder to what capacity. Main event is stacked and as good as Wade is, no way he's surpassingly Kross, Balor. Probably in the Dream, Gargano, and Ciampa level, those who can afford Ls and still look strong.

Re: NXT Thread III
What is the reason for his return?
I've heard that he has only that appearance.

I want to be all in on Kross, but I’m immediately taken on of the moment in his entrance. So cringe.

I agree. Kross should be just a no non-sense ass kicker. For him that works

Candido though was bland AF without Sunny.
But I agree. Kross just needs to come out and be an ass kicker. None of that other hoopla necessary

Chris Candido was not bland, imo. I watched the guy when he made his debut in Smokey Mountain Wrestling - before he bulked up. He was tiny at the time. The biggest reasons he made it in the business were his personality and smarts. I thought he was hilarious as a jerk back then and a great promo guy - being around Jim Cornette probably helped. Unfortunately, he was booked terribly when "promoted" to the WWF. I think that was the reason he used the "no gimmics needed" gimmic in ECW. The bulked up Candido could have been a big star.

Re: NXT Thread III
I would rather see Kross against Brock Lesner in the Main Roster...

Maybe your didnt i didn't see him in smokey mountain. But as we all know, Vince does have a way of minimizing his talent
