I'd turn Becky heel. She's been turned on before by others, even Charlotte I believe. So why not have her turn on Charlotte or cost her the Women's title match at Backlash?

Becky makes the most sense storyline wise but she's the most over female face arguably. Fans may not want to boo her.

Asuka should be a heel really and she should logically want revenge on Charlotte but she's also pretty over. Plus they may not want both Nakamura and Asuka as Japanese heels on 1 program.

Charlotte always felt better as a heel but the WWE wants her as the top female face.

Naomi can never be a good heel.

Actually I think they are setting up Asuka to be a heel. First match on Smackdown was lost when her partner was pinned and her team wins when she is able to get the win for them. With both Asuka and and Nakamura leading a Japanese faction that had issues with the former Balor/Bullet Club members of Styles, Gallows and Anderson

Asuka is being super babyfacey on SD right now. I don't see it. Maybe this is all a clever swerve though.

I'd love to see Nak and Asuka in a mixed tag match and do synchronized low blows on people though.

I like the way you book. I think creative really blew it by breaking up Fin with them. All 3 should be a heel stable right now. Maybe have Fin win the IC belt via cheating

In Vince's mind there are still faces and heels. Not for fans though.

This is why the fans simply cheer who they like while Vince tries to turn wrestlers into characters who he THINKS people should like.

NXT proves that this is incorrect. Almas and Ciampa are recent examples of characters who, despite receiving some chants, get heat when fans recognize a spot they're supposed to boo. They're beloved figures who get regular feel reactions because fans still want to boo the heels and cheer the faces.

NXT crowds are totally different from main roster crowds though (with the exception of PPVs, but that's another matter altogether). They know the game, they are the definition of "smarks". That said, they have still cheered heels over faces at times. But they "get it". And they do the right reactions when they approve of the product.

It has nothing to do with the NXT crowd being smarks. If anything, having a crowd full of smarks should make it harder to get proper reactions for guys like Ciampa.

It's that NXT actually books faces like faces and heels like heels. NXT's faces aren't arrogant, entitled d-bags like the faces Vince books tend to be. They're just good, likable characters.

People don't boo Ciampa because it's expected of them. They boo him because he's an remorseless a-hole who constantly does horrible things to a guy we all love.
