anyone mind translating.

Also is that the crown prince?

Sorry the translation didn't copy over when posted on here anyways it says...

"What is the World Cup that no one talks about this"

"Al-Sheikh is the Chairman of the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia and he is the person who signed the deal to bring WWE events into the country for the next 10 years. He is a WWE fan but is more familiar with wrestlers from the 90’s. Al-Sheikh previously requested for Hulk Hogan to appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble show in April but that was not possible at the time."

Per news source

So Hogan may have been brought back into the fold because of the Saudi Prince and will probably make an appearance at the Saudi Show, makes sense.

Yeah looks like it they edited the opening intro of RAW tonight and the first thing that appeared was
Hogan slamming Andre from Wrestlemania 3

They're gonna end up canceling this crown jewel show and their partnership with the saudis. Was a bad look from the beginning but now with this story about the murdered/dismembered journalist, they're really gonna be feeling the heat.

No way they'll just cancel it like that unless it gets worse. Trump seems to be doing what he can to give the Saudi's leeway so i don't think Vince is going to be any different. Especially given how good the money is, it would take the other major sponsors saying something or the board to make any big changes like that.

I think they have to. It's a disgusting partnership.

He'd still be wrestling I think.

Agreed. This story is gaining more traction and I think eventually Vince gives in. It was gross to begin with but now you're literally taking money from murderers.

They can't just cancel without dire consequences. The signed a 10 year deal with the Saudis, breaking the contract now could result in the WWE being sued for breach of contract, and they could be sued for a massive amount, enough to seriously dent the company badly.

Given who they were dealing with, I'd be shocked if they didn't give themselves some sort of out in the contract.

It was a bad idea from the beginning. If they were simply going there to put on a regular WWE show and then leave, that's bordering on okay. Instead, they're being used as state propaganda. We all remember that last show. It was **** weird. Did they not consider that a country notorious for human rights abuses may make the news for a human rights abuse?

If they didn't put some kind of out in the contract, they deserve all the **** that's coming to them.

Tickets are no longer being sold for Crown Jewel on WWE.com is what I've heard.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

"Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game."

WWE playing the waiting game to see if enough people that watch WWE actually give a crap about anything going on elsewhere in the world.

I wonder how the wrestlers feel about this, if they'll protest or if the money is just too good.

If they did protest, they'd likely lose their jobs, so I wouldn't expect to see it even if some of them do disagree with putting on shows there.

This crown jewel story is actually picking up momentum.

I do wish they'd get a somewhat consistent PPV schedule again though, this year it has felt completely out of whack cause of the Saudi shows and even the Australia show.

So I've noticed that while WWE is still promoting Crown Jewel, they haven't mentioned Saudi Arabia at all. Something to continue to speculate.
