Hour 3 is death, plain and simple. If this is what they get for the raw after mania, by september they'll be averaging 1.8 mill per episode (literally TNA on spike type of numbers). I know the financials are good now but they had better figure out something or else that will go south as well.

I don't think that hour three necessarily has to be death. But if you're making a show that sucks and gives viewers little reason to care, then yeah, it absolutely is.

If Raw was three hours of great wrestling (both in-ring and out) every week, we'd all happily tune in. But it's usually more of a three hour death march, so I skip it entirely. I usually watch the Raw after 'Mania. Last night, I skipped it, because honestly, what's the point? They actually got me to tune in to the Kofi/Seth match, but as soon as the Bar interfered instead of Undisputed Era (or literally anyone else), I said f*ck it.

And it's not that I don't like the Bar. I think they're a great team. But having them interfere in that match was just lazy and pointless.

well for me a lot of the time its usually background noise but i actually sat down and watched most of it (and it was a bad show with nothing happening, but they hamstrung themselves with the draft next week).

The more AEW starts looking more and more legit as a company, the more you'll see WWE stars seriously pondering a move. It was different when the WWE was the only game in town to pay the best. But with AEW having the bucks to pay just as much, not to mention a TV looking more and more possible, I would not be surprised if WWE starts having a crisis on their hands for their years of "buying and stashing" and "Throw everyone under the bus for 1-2 guys/gals while everyone else does nothing for 6 months"

Yeah, I'm sure the lighter travel and talk of an offseason has to sound amazing to a lot of WWE Superstars.

Not to mention an actual tangible company health plan. Even McDonalds provides health insurance to their employees.

I certainly understand where Sasha is coming from. She was supposed to be one of the foundations of the women's division. Instead, she watched three other women main event Wrestlemania while she dropped the tag titles after a pretty uninteresting run.

They have like 100 writers on staff and can only focus on like 3 people at a time, which is absurd.

I said this before, but if the WWE didn't treat their midcard completely irrelevant and worthless, we wouldn't have people getting upset for not being in main events or having titles. The main thing is employees need to feel valued. They don't have to be pushed to the top but giving them something interesting to do if they're not at the top goes a long way. There used to be a time when midcard feuds were allowed to occasionally overshadow main event feuds. You can create great feuds and matches between 2 people without a belt involved.

The problem also is too many people. You want a men and women's division but that means more matches on dual branded cards, and as more and more people come to the main roster, that's more people you have to take into account. Wrestlemania had what, 17 matches this year?

It's a huge problem. I thought making PPVs dual branded would lead to problems with many people getting squeezed out of PPVs more regularly and here we are.

I also do think AEW needs to succeed, and many talent needs to go elsewhere. That will actually help the talent flourish indvidually and the WWE not have to worry about workplace morale because they seemingly can only focus on 3 women at a time, have no clue how to deal with foreign talent, and only care about 5-6 men at a time on both brands combined.

Will AEW have a writing staff or a booking committee?

It's good clickbait though.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

"Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game."

Yep. And maybe her return after a long time away will be exciting and welcomed. But probably not.

I just hate her wrestling style.

She's like Corbin for me. I am just completely and utterly uninterested in her as a performer. She makes the product worse whenever she's on screen. The only time she's ever been remotely interesting was when she entered the Rumble and all the dudes in the ring hit finishers on her.

How long is her contract signed for? Because I'm sure WWE will go out of their way to make her life hell if she's under a long-term deal.

I seem to recall she signed a new one last year. Hopefully that isn't true because if she sits out and the WWE freezes her contract, she could be out of wrestling for a few years. With Neville we see he only had about a year left on his contract when he walked out, so he was essentially not getting any pay for 1 year only. With Sasha it could be longer.

That being said, I think Ambrose is just the start of many popular midcard/upper midcard stars leaving when their contracts expire. People will simplify it and say people are upset they aren't being pushed, but it's moreso the lack of respect. Ambrose clearly was thinking of leaving already when he was IC champ! So it's not just belts. A person can be given a belt and still be disrespected.
