Kushida is going to WWE, HHH is a huge fan of him and probably means he gets pushed in a non 205 role (which is good, Ricochet is getting a singles push that he never would have gotten in New Japan cause of his small size, same seems to apply for Kushida).
HHH was a big fan of KENTA before all that's happened too. I honestly think Itami was destined for better before all the injury problems.
As for Omega, I'll say this: there's a reason why most of the indie/Japan stars in the WWE right now are pretty old. WWE isn't where people go in their primes anymore. It's where people go to retire and fill up their bank account.
you raise a good point. KENTA was one of NOAH's biggest names and look at what he's doing now, stuck on a show that no one watches (in fact he should leave for NOAH again, he'd actually be in a better position).
I agree though, WWE is the last stop before you end your career i say and that's fine (unless you're an ROH talent).

PAC is a huge signing, he is a guy they could put in the main event and not many would struggle with that i'd imagine. Him vs Omega would be huge.

That Jericho signing was huge, imo. I can't wait to see who else AEW can lure away from WWE.

I think i'm more shocked that Jericho would work for another U.S based promotion to be honest. He is a huge star obviously so for him to be there will do them a world of good in terms of mainstream attention (the articles that i've seen AEW mentioned from mainstream sites mention Jericho as the lead).
I'm also interested to see what iteration of his character we get there (New Japan he was a clockwork orange psycho-dad, in wwe we had the list).

I think he really appreciates the creative freedom these other promotions are giving him compared to WWE. The schedule is also a hell of a lot lighter.

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Discussion
Apparently, other than OWE, the other rumoured promotions they could be working with are DDT (Omega and Ibushi's old promotion and probably the current #2 or #3 in Japan, also giving them access to sub promotions such as Tokyo Joshi Pro and Basara), Wrestle-1 (Mutoh's promotion) and AAA (Well.......), though the info i wouldn't call reputable.
They also want Mayu Iwatami from Stardom (part of the stardom threedom along with Io Shirai and Kairi Hojo/Sane). I'm a bit skeptical about this but with Stardom pushing Momo and now Utami, maybe it might be the right time for her to go, she'd undoubtedly be the #1 in the company given the only other talent they could sign who would rival her (from the out of WWE signings) would be Tess Blanchard really. They're also looking at outside the traditional markets, Australia was mentioned (over here we have some good wrestlers on the woman's side, most notable being Madison Eagles).
The big loser in this could be ROH, because they may have rendered themselves irrelevant and they only have themselves to blame (after 2 years of a really bad product and poor promotion). They either not partner up with AEW and potentially lose the New Japan deal, or agree and be relegated to second or third tier in the partnership.

Also, to be a fly on the wall when Vince got told that Jericho was signing with AEW (whether it was today or a few weeks ago by Jericho himself).
Not so much because AEW being competition (they're not anything until that TV gets signed and are consistently getting ratings), but more because of Vince being Vince.

Apparently NJPW and AEW might be working together after all, mainly due to Kenny Omega. WWE can't make a star feel that important, no matter the money.

Here's hoping, the president said that their would need to be an anti WWE alliance of some sort to make sure they can keep talent, time to put his money where his mouth is and drag ROH and CMLL with them.

Really? I'm seeing four items, only one of which is on sale: the t-shirt. And all shirts are on sale right now.
Maybe Canada has a different shop.

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Discussion
Jericho talked with Vince before signing. Vince wasn't blindsided by this.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.
"Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game."

Well, he signed a three year deal with AEW that probably disqualifies him from appearing for WWE, so it's not like they're going to make anything new for him any time soon. Might as well clear out the inventory. It'll be at least three years before you have to even consider making more.

Seems inevitable at this point that Omega is going to AEW with the rumors that he shot WWE down.

I'd say so unless WWE offer him Lesnar money + creative but with WWE, you never know, they might just do it.
In all honesty, i kind of hope they let him and AJ do a special attraction match on a takeover show, just to give both men what they want (Can be one of Styles last big matches before he goes part time and Omega goes back to the WWE for one match, kind of like the Liger deal). At least with HHH, he may be open to it because it would be big business if NXT ever wanted to run a stadium or sell out any arena in north america fast.
Anyway back on topic, the holdup seems to be moreso on the New Japan side of things and trying to bring them along into the alliance (either with or without ROH), which also has an air of inevitability (Omega is part of the big 3 and Jericho has also been in that upper mid card scene/special attraction slot, those two alone are worth way more to New Japan than ROH).
the main question will be other names (they need some other main eventers/upper mid carders like a Shane Strickland to bolster that roster up some more).

Kind of beating a dead horse here but how much value do you think can Punk bring if he's on board?
