Wish the Lars thing would've panned out, I wasn't his biggest fan but his rumored push would've been something.

Color me surprised at the critical acclaim that "Fighting with my Family" has received. Finally watched it tonight. Definition of mediocre. Contrived and more made up BS than Bohemian Rhapsody. I could see a non wrestling fan being mildly entertained by it but as a fan I was bored to tears and it was too easy to point out all the innacurracies. I understand that in movies they stretch the truth but this film was filled with outright lies that didn't even really further the story.

Geez, ricochet and black looking strong and lars being a no show flop. Pretty much identical to what I predicted for main roster NXT guys

Good job predicting panic attacks.

Yeah, I mean it's not like he bombed because he sucked. He bombed because he literally didn't even get to go out on camera because of a panic attack in a company where any sign of weakness can mean the end of you being taken seriously by management.

As a side note, while I understand why some doubted Ricochet's potential on the main roster, I never did. The man is just so obviously a star that it's going to be impossible to hold him down. He's just too exciting, and unlike Neville (who was comparable as an athlete) he doesn't have a face for radio or a foreign accent. He's also not nearly as bad on the mic as people make him out to be. He can go out there and cut a decent promo. He's just not incredible like, say, Kevin Owens or Chris Jericho. But I think he's definitely good enough.

Same with Black. Great gimmick. Really good in the ring, and always wrestles with a ton of intensity. Solid to good on the mic. He's got an accent but it's not all that noticeable compared to many others. He's pretty much a lock to be, at worst, a mid-card guy with a main event ceiling.

Dana warrior reportedly joins the creative team... I'd honestly prefer anyone whose won the warrior award or really, anyone else anywhere other than her. She already gets plenty of undeserved spotlight at the HOF etc. Adding a female perspective? I'm sure there's plenty of that around already, look at the day and age we're in, give me a break. She's horrible

I mean, it's not as if creative can really get any worse.

And honestly, I don't think creative is really the problem. It's that creative is writing the show for a guy who wants something vastly different than the fans that watch and attend it.

They also hired Bruce Prichard and Dave Schilling for creative roles, so I guess they're just throwing **** at the wall right now.

Vince has a tendency to throw out weeks of scripts at the last minute because of knee jerk impulses. All the creative in the world can't stop it when Vince has one of his moments.

Yup. WWE will inevitably go through ebbs and flows with quality, and we may see a slight uptick in quality with Vince seemingly so worried about AEW, but ultimately WWE is going to generally suck until Vince is out of there because, as I've stated, what Vince likes is no longer the same thing as what his fans want. Maybe it never was, but at least he listened to other people back in the Attitude Era.

I feel like today he often does the opposite of what people tell him to do just to spite them, and I'm fairly certain a couple of the past several 'Manias were booked specifically to stick it to the fans.

Well, WWE is basically a parody of good wrestling, so I guess it makes a certain amount of sense to have parody news guys come in to host.

The Hall of Fame is filled with people who don't belong. It's pointless to begin with and pretty much just an excuse for WWE and fans to wax nostalgic for a night.
