In fact, I thought it looked a little silly that Cody was having this competitive match with this effeminate newcomer. No way he’s 198 pounds, by the way. I liked his promo package, though.
That Young Bucks match was all over the place, for me. That tombstone spot didn’t even make sense (Havoc held Kip in the tombstone position and the Bucks ‘made’ him tombstone him), and the pacing was a bit off.
We’re on the same page again, I always look at these guys builds and looks and I was left unimpressed.
I never saw myself as a big hoss guy, but maybe I’m way too much into the look of a wrestler than I realized.
Maybe cause when I watched in the attitude era, everyone had the roided up body, you had guys like Steven Richards even looking jacked up, lol.
Now I’m glad roids aren’t as rampant, and not everyone can look like Brian Cage, but these guys barely look like they hit the gym consistently.
His gimmick has potential, I liked his bit on Sammy’s vlog where they had a match against a mop and a broom, he even took a bump on a flaming table.
These tag matches have too many big double teams that don’t get a finish. Still a pet peeve of mine.
No reason Trent should kick out of a aluminum bat to the stomach, followed by a shooting star press. Isn’t that one of Sammy’s finishers too?
Bit overload on tag matches but with the tag team wars, it makes total sense. And I like that storyline.
But still, no real standout feuds heading into Fyter Fest. Then again I didn’t realize it would be aired on TV so no room for complaining.
