What an episode of dynamite, I really liked last week’s fight for the fallen too.

Eddie Kingston debut, Ivy debut, Sammy Guevara returning, and that falls count anywhere match was a lot of fun...

Oh yeah, that Lance Archer segment was gold. Was entertained top to bottom, good stuff.

That was really really good, best episode in weeks (maybe even months).

Absolutely marked out for Kingston, he's so damn good and its amazing he's never been on national television before really. Sign him up AEW, he is so versatile that he can be a face, a heel or a tweener and give you what you want and long term, i'd argue he would actually make a great TNT champion at some point. I also love how they're making Cody look like a pompous ass slowly but surely and I don't think the outright heel turn is too far away.

Guevara returning was good, Archer segment was hillarious (Jake the Snake doing running commentary on it made it better) and enjoyed the build up for the mox and allin vs Starks and cage tag next week (one question, is Starks a Taz guy now, is that why he came out and attacked Darby from behind). MJF vs Griff Garrison was enjoyable (I think i'm the only one who sees this, but this 'who the **** is Griff Garrison stuff reminds me a bit of the 'Hi, my name is Dolph Ziggler' schtick, which ain't a bad thing). Hangman vs Alan Angels was solid was fine as well.

Young Bucks vs Butcher and Blade was unique at least and it needed to be though cause they've been having some kind of interaction for ages now. I know they're a jobber team more or less but they're really making it a point at this stage. Why are the Bucks still feuding with them at this point.

Amazed Diamante went over Iverlisse (I hope Iverlisse didn't have too much of a hissy fit backstage over it) but i'm glad they did that. Iverlise would be good but she already has heat with most of the Lucha Underground crew (2nd most only to Sexy Star i'd imagine)

Next week should be good with the tornado tag and the tag team title matchup (I wonder actually, will AEW pull a fast one and have Dark Order win the titles to give them some legitimacy besides Brodie Lee and get this Hangman vs The Elite breakup storyline out of the slow cooker and into the fire). Also is Shida vs Diamante a title or non title matchup?

I only watched bits of it, but from what I saw - NXT blew them out of the water last night. They rely too much on little guys who'd have no chance to be on the NXT roster. Kingston's always struck me too much as a hardcore wrestlecrap guy - a far less talented Kevin Steen. And Archer beating up a locker-room full of 150 pounders... it just doesn't work for me. And Jake the Snake needs better shirts. Otoh, MFJ is gold. And Jericho makes every segment he's on worth watching.

Great episode, so much better than anything WWE has going, I rarely watch NXT nowadays, but I'll include that in my statement.

KIngston should always have a mic in his hand, he speaks and people are drawn in.

Loving the Hangman/FTR and Omega story. WIll Page turn on Kenny, or Kenny turn on Page? Ar they both swerving FTR? WHo knows, and that's what makes it great.

If the Elite does turn heel, and Page/FTR and another guy form a stable, they should be face. A face stable would be great to see feuding against Inner Circle, Death Triangle, Dark order, and a heel Elite

Don't get me wrong - I like AEW, and I love some of the stuff they do, but this week by itself, NXT was much better. And tbh, part of that is because they stole some of the innovations that AEW came up with.

Yeah i'd be down for an Eddie Kingston AEW world title run (mainly cause he'd make sure to make it super intriguing).

I like that NXT finally has decided to not hotshot stuff and start to build things up again, that's my main issue with NXT in previous weeks given that takeover is in like a month.

Yeah no way FTR and Page are heels, Hangman is the biggest babyface on the roster (by far) and FTR are overwhelmingly popular whilst Kenny is being a dick at best and the Bucks are slowly sinking back into their old ways.

I hope they keep Kenny + the Bucks away from Cody however and have Cody form his own mini-faction as well (Cody + two other wrestlers with Arn managing them could be fun).

I hope Cody doesn’t have any horsemen like affiliation, I really wouldn’t mind him booking himself like his dad and have him feud with the horsemen stable instead.

I’ve also realized I love how every person on the roster has a purpose/storyline and I seem to like all of them lol. Omega’s heel tease and this Cult Cobana storyline are the ones that stand out for me at the moment.

This is to me a fantastic use of this title and the open challenge. Bring in talent from indies and get guys people want, see who sticks around. People have been calling for this matchup on Twitter for a while, will be interested.

Edit: Now I want Danhausen next.

I can't believe people are hyped about Eddie Kingston lol... where was the love when he was in Impact or NWA?
He still looks like he's never been in a gym in his life but does look like he's in better shape then Impact and NWA.

They should just end the Inner Circle and reunite Eddie, Santana and Ortiz and Diamante and have the LAX reunion
even though LAX never really interested me and they came off as cheap Indy/cosplay wrestlers.

Without clicking on it i'm going to hazard a guess.

it was earlyish PWG and it was some program involving Human Tornado.
