What's The Miz' ceiling?

How high up the food chain do you think The Miz could climb?

Considering how much of a star he has become in the past year or so, and the fact that a lot of that was based on his own work on the mic and his improvement in the ring, I think he could continue to improve to the level where he's being looked at as an eventual contender for one of the top spots (WWE Champ or World Heavyweight Champ). I think if Swagger can get the title over on Smackdown then The Miz could definitely be in the running for it eventually, if not in the next year or so. His work on the mic is as good as the WWE has had since the days of The Rock & Stone Cold. I also think that eventually you could start trying to cross him over as a face, the way that happened with The Rock where he was still the arrogant character but he did it in a way that people enjoyed and laughed at.

Here's an interesting article from a couple of days ago when the Raw superstars finally made it home from overseas.

"I go to improv classes, I have an acting coach," he said. "I do a lot of things to prepare because we're in front of a live audience ... anything can happen, and it does happen. I think me over-training, if you will, has led to me doing great things in the ring with the mic because I am prepared and I know exactly what I have to do. I can eat anyone up anytime I want."

He's not only improving on the mic but his work in the ring has improved by leaps and bounds over the last few years too.

"Every time I'm in that ring, I'm improving, I'm working on it - I working to be the best there possibly is. ... I think I've improved 100 percent, but if you think I'm stopping there's no chance of it. I will keep on improving, and keep on improving, until I'm No. 1. And then when I am No. 1, I'll still keep improving so nobody even takes my spot."

I wasn't a fan of him at first, mostly i was hard on him cuz he came from the Real World. But I've been more custom to him lately. I also thought he was going to be the Marty Janetty between him and Morrison but they both could easily be World Champs one day.

So my answer would probably be...skys the limit. If he can continue to improve overall then he'll reach main event status in a year or so.

Its like you took the words out of my head. I really think he should be one of the top candidates to be moved to Smackdown. Since he's got the belts he can stay on both shows for the next few months and then after they drop the titles he focuses strictly on his singles career. We know the guy can talk and he's improved dramatically in the ring, but in order to take that next step he's gotta become a better in-ring performer and the way to do that is to put him on the show where they actually wrestle.

I remember watching him on Tuff Enough and thought he was a total loserdouche. He's made it much farther than I'd ever have expected, so I'll swallow my pride and say the sky is the limit at this point.
