WWE vs TNA card

Post#1 » by skbucks1985 » Wed Jul 14, 2010 4:40 am

Some fantasy booking for everyone. Its not quite WCW vs WWF circa 1999 with Goldberg vs SCSA but I think you could still have quite a card. Since this is a "dream card" I'm avoiding matches that I think could be excellent feuds but the matches have already happened ie Anderson vs Punk.

Sting vs Undertaker: In 2002 when WCW was bought out and we saw all of the fans speculating about the dream matches we might see, this was on a lot of people's cards including my own. Both of these guys are not nearly the performers they were in 2002, much less there primes. But I think both can put on a good enough match even at this stage of there career, plus this match is there just for fans to mark out. Also, technically this match happened 20+ years ago, but that was Sting vs Mark Callaway and not the Undertaker.

AJ Styles vs John Morrison/John Cena: Styles/Morrison is the match I want to see as I think those two are capable of putting on a 5 star match. But Cena/Styles is the feud I want to see. These guys are the faces of there respective companies.

Kurt Angle vs Bryan Danielson: I think the Angle/Lesnar Ironman match was the match of the 2000's and I think this match has the ability to surpass that.

Samoa Joe vs Jack Swagger: I know a lot of people probably wouldn't agree with me, but I think Swagger is the best wrestler in the company right now. Joe is one of the 3-4 best in TNA and these two could have a great feud with there contrasting personas.

Chris Jericho vs Desmond Wolfe: Both of these guys are guys whom I couldn’t think of anyone to pair with. But their personas are similar, pricks with an inflated view of self. They are also both excellent in-ring performers who could put on a terrific match.

LAX vs The Hart Dynasty: WWE doesn’t have much of a tag division and THD are far and away the best they got. They’d have fine matches with Beer Money or the MCMG, but I think LAX both in the ring and as a feud would be a better opponent. THD are the respected young guys who do it the right way while LAX at there best were, for lack of a better word, thugs. Makes for some interesting viewing.

Miz and Morrison vs the MCMG: If I’m gonna reunite LAX might as well re-unite Miz and Morrison as well. These 4 could put on some great promos and could put on a very good match as well.

CM Punk vs D’Angelo Dineiro: Doesn’t fit the above criteria as these two not only have wrestled multiple times before, they’ve had a fairly lengthy feud. But Pope is a completely different character and back then Punk was kind of a generic face and he’s undergone a character overhaul as well. These two could have some absolutely phenomenal promos.

HHH vs Jay Lethal: I don’t know how good of a match these two would have. But it would be hysterical to see Jay Lethal do HHH’s ring entrance.

Those all seem pretty good. I've always wanted to see Sting wrestle the WWE guys.

LOL WOW, I made a WWE vs TNA card a couple months ago while I was bored in class. Our lineups are very very similiar. I think the Sting vs Taker match would be an awsome wrestlemania match, u know Taker would win but you would also say is Sting really going to lose? Those make the best matches.

Plus the leadup would be awsome with lights going out etc lol

Wasn't WCW bought out in 2001 and not 2002? When did Angle and Lesnar have their iron man match? I don't remember that.
