My WrestleMania XXVII dream card

Post#1 » by ChadBC » Wed Aug 25, 2010 6:34 am

Just wanted to post a card I wrote up for WrestleMania XXVII. It's more of a "dream card" than reality but I tried to make it as believable as I could. I'm not too good with this type of thing but I decided to give it a shot. If you guys could help me make it improve in any way, please go ahead and suggest something. Thanks.

Show starts off with WWE.com exclusive battle royal like they do a lot. Featuring Big Show, Evan Bourne, Wade Barrett, Curt Hawkins, Luke Gallows, Chris Masters, Shad, JTG, Jey Uso, Morrison, Ezekiel Jackson, Jimmy Uso, Mark Henry, Santino, Chavo, Khali, Regal, Kozlov, Del Rio, Swagger, MVP blah blah blah. Have Big Show win for good measure.

Now on to the actual event:

Rey Mysterio vs. Kofi Kingston (C): Intercontinental Championship match, Rey wins. I think this would be a good match to start off the show.

Dudley Boyz (C) vs. Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian: TLC World Tag Team Championship match. Dudley Boyz return to WWE a few months before WM and beat the Hart Dynasty for the Tag Team titles. Hardy Boyz win the Tag Team championship belts at WrestleMania. Replacing the Money in the Bank match, I think this would be an awesome replacement.

Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz vs. R-Truth (C): Triple Threat United States Championship match, Ziggler wins title.

CM Punk vs. Kurt Angle: Angle returns to the WWE a day after Royal Rumble after "retiring" over at TNA and builds up a non wrestling fued with CM Punk which ultimately leads to a match at WrestleMania, CM Punk wins, proving Angle doesn't have "what it takes" anymore and Angle retires from wrestling but becomes RAW GM after Bret Hart steps down the next day on RAW.

Kane vs. Undertaker (C): World Heavyweight Championship match, Undertaker wins and retires the belt and his career the next day on RAW or on SmackDown.

Beth Phoenix (C) vs. Natalya (C): Title vs. title, Women's and Diva's championship match, Natalya wins and is crowned both Women's and Diva's champion

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. John Cena (C): Championship scramble for the WWE Championship, Bryan wins at Royal Rumble and gets a huge push and wins at WrestleMania.

It's ridiculous that Daniel Bryanson would get a WM push for the WWE title in his, what would be his 4th PPV?

When a guy like Christian has never gotten a push like that.

Have Edge win the WWE Championship.

In a match against Jericho for the title Christian intervenes and costs Edge the title.

Jericho (C) vs. Edge vs. Christian vs. Randy Orton for the WWE title.

That would be a great match IMO.

What Dunthreevy said.

ALTHOUGH, I do agree with you about Christian. I believe he is the most underrated wrestler on the WWE roster right now. You could replace everything I said about Danielson and pencil the name Christian in and I would be just as happy, even happier. So yes, I agree. Christian needs his shot.

Sorry, didn't mean to come off like I what you said was outrageous, it just seems so unfair that guys like Sheamus got his push in how long? And Christian has never gotten one.
