'According to one source of PWInsider.com, TNA had been considering pulling World Champion Jeff Hardy from tonight's Final Resolution PPV and sending him home due to "concern about his behavior backstage."

According to prowrestling.net, TNA came very close to stripping Hardy of the title today due to him being in "no condition to perform."

Another source said that Hardy will still be wrestling on the PPV as scheduled and that the whole situation was a "overblown misunderstanding."

I would definitely agree that Hardy is the most overrated superstar ever. He has never been good in the ring and has frequently been a liability to other superstars because he's so careless (ask Joey Mercury and Mr. Anderson).

I don't know if Hardy is necessarily overrated. He's had 2 legitimately great feuds. One of them was the TLC matches with E&C and The Dudleys. Both of there matches in 2000 and 2001 were a lot of people's picks for match of the year. I don't know if him and Punk necessarily had any truly great matches, although I suppose that depends on how liberal one's use of the word great is, but there feud was legitimately great.

Having said that, outside of these moments Hardy's had few truly memorable matches and memorable feuds. I think when people make a list of greatest wrestlers ever whether they're putting an emphasis on drawing (Hogan, Cena) or working (Bret Hart, Angle) Hardy's probably pretty far down both lists although he'd probably do somewhat respectably if the person puts a heavy emphasis on drawing.

This is going to seem like a weird analogy but stay with me, Jeff Hardy is a little like Joe Namath. Namath is known partially because of the gurantee but also because he was all about living the New York lifestyle, wearing fur coats and dating movie stars. When you make a list of all time great QB's, maybe its just me, but I get to a lot of people before Joe Namath's name comes up.

I had erased all knowledge of this from my mind. Thanks a lot.

You might disagree with me, but that was partly Mercury's fault and part bad luck in positioning of himself and the ladder. Mercury should of tried blocking the shot to the face by the ladder like Morrison did. But the Anderson accident...I agree with you on that one.
