Gimmicks that were cut short/Should return

I'll start with the obvious ones:

#1:

The whole package. The theme, the outfit, Tomko and definitely the different attitude. A much better version than the current Christian if you ask me. One of the greatest heels I have seen. If he hadn't jumped to TNA around this time it could have been a phenomenal push.

#2:

GOAT. Had a much better chance to go over than the likes of say Buff Bagwell. With his all around athleticism and charisma it's a shame they burnt him out.

I don't know why this interested me, but it did.

Yeah....I said it!

I'm a huge fan. The guy just can't keep his head straight. I was honestly expecting big things from him though.

Moar please!!!!

Christian - I like his theme song now, the outfit was good. Didn't like Tomko, but I liked the idea of a bodyguard.

Conway - Gimmick sucked, should of stayed as a tag team.

Burchill - Gimmick was fun while it lasted, but they should of really tried to utilize him as a singles wrestler.

Soaring Eagle mascot - I thought that was a good idea, if it was still around i think it would help Swagger get over.

Kendrick - Was only interested in watching him and London as a team.

Mordic. I really like the Gimmike and the poteintal it had
maybe not the right choice of guy but i think taker vs mordic could of been epic of done right

Kevin Thron, I loved the gimmike and he seemed fit alot better in the gimmike
they shouldnt of tried to turn him into just a wrestler in a singlet

I agree. Dude gives me the chills lol. I liked him better as Mordecai then Kevin Thorn, but him as Kevin Thorn with James Mitchell as his manager would of worked too.

Man, those O'Haire promos were cool. I don't remember them, or O'Haire at all for that matter. How was he in the ring?

Sh00n is right, the best answer I can think of is a Matt Osborne played Doink the Clown. Awesome character with some believable quality. I mean who doesn't think clowns are the creepiest thing on the planet?

I saw the thread and was running in here to IMMEDIATELY post Paul Burchill's pirate gimmick, but it's here already. Thank you for that.

Also, not really worthy of bringing back, but Taka Michinoku and Sho Funaki having their actual dialogue dubbed ("INDEED!") always made me laugh.

that Kizarny guy lasted as long as Mordecai. the hyping period for both was longer than their actual TV time.

they aired in early 2003 as I remember, he was on smackdown but honestly I think the gimmick went over peoples heads, he was supposed to be the devil's advocate, they stuck him with Piper for some reason and that didn't really work, then he just kind of disappeared. O'Haire was in WCW he trained in the powerplant and was in the Natural Born Thrillers he was a good athlete, he even did some high flying as well but he wasn't a great worker he had a good look though, I think he did MMA after WWE and sucked pretty bad lol

Sean O'Haire by a mile. That gimmick was golden.

how bout angles, like when Regal won king of the ring and was also the GM. He kept turning the lights off, then he got suspended. Or Lance Cade being Jericho's protege, and first feud would have been with Shawn Michaels, but of course suspended then released. King Booker was going strong, then he was drafted to Raw and Triple H buried him, then he left. And Umaga's manager, Armando Estrada.

no offense but Booker's king gimmick got stale and corny for me. what's with the pinky raising pose?!

now this, I believe everyone will agree with me, should return, ASAP.

I thought the Nexus angle ended far too quickly. They had a chance to do something major with John Cena being forced into the group but they just gave up.
