Wonder how many WWE threads we'll go through before we go through one TNA thread.

Average? That's a kind way of putting it. I thought the Rhodes-Christian v. Orton-Sheamus match was decent but nothing spectacular. The Dolph match and the Divas matches were too short too really be any good. I thought Barrett and Morrison was probably the match of the night but it was the definition of a filler match. The main event was more of an angle than a match. The only moment that was really good was Punk reading Johnny Ace the riot act.

If all of that was just the show then it would be average but to waste the first 2 segments of the show on Kevin Nash and HHH is ridiculous and overall I'd give the show 3.5 out of 10

One other thing, this match is probably the best opportunity since the Summerslam match against Nexus last year to turn Cena heel. Make him the leader of this revolution with Miz and Truth and you've really taken this angle to the next level.

I don't see the rationale of Cena joining Awesome Truth but I do agree that this is the best time to turn him heel.

I was just imagining this a while ago.

at SS, the finish for Rock-Cena vs Awesome Truth:

Legal men are Miz and Rock. Rock gives the Rock bottom to Miz then pins Miz. Truth interferes, Cena comes in, sends Truth out and Cena follows and pummels Truth. Miz hits Rock but Cena makes the save. Cena hits the AA setting up for "The Most Electrifying Move in Sports Entertainment a Decade Ago" then pins Miz for the 1-2-3. :P

Both Rock and Cena celebrate but Rock tries to cheap shot Cena (or not and just proceed to). Cena retaliates (or attacks) and beats the hell out of "The People's Champ" to an extent that is too "graphic" to watch. Cena stares at Rock, laying flat on his back, and talks a lot of smack while rapping.

:droop:

I'm not creative but something similar will do as long as Cena turns heel.

they have had chances to turn him heel in just about every PPV

but agree this is the best chance to turn him, and imo most logical, its @ the garden of all places, one of the biggest PPV's, and most controversial one

wouldn't surprise me in the least if they didnt though, @ best he and the rock will bury Awesome Truth, and one or the other puts there finishing move on one and walks way

I still don't understand how hitting someone with a bottle of water (an open bottle at that), does so much damage. Must be hard water.

... or why you clear the monitors off the announce table before putting someone through it, or why you wrap your fist around the top of a sledgehammer before using it, or why a sledgehammer doesn't kill you!

Even with thousands of shoot interviews floating around, there are still so many unanswered questions within the industry. LOL!

Don't get me wrong, there's no way they'll actually turn him heel especially with him debuting the new shirt. But the way this has been set up, there has not been a better time and opportunity to turn Cena heel.

lol!

Just watching the ending of RAW. Laurinitis' mic work makes me long for the days of Shelton Benjamin on the mic. He's that bad.

Things in wrestling I don't understand:

Empty arena matches.

I still think the better opportunity was the double-switch when Punk returned but they effed that up.

I think them going to the black coloured shirt, black hat maybe it suits being a heel so who knows at this point. But clearly we can all see that Cena needs a heel turn and it would freshen up the product even more.

I can't remember if it was here or the previous thread but if he's gonna take such a central role, he can't be fumbling over his own words, and he's offing up simple parts of it. It looks so bad.

It is a black shirt, but its a black shirt that says Rise Above Hate. Which is obviously the most clear example of there anti-bullying campaign, but also kind of a wink and nod to those We Hate Cena shirts.

Anyway, the double turn could've been done but I don't think this group of writers is really capable of doing an angle like that without it being over the top

I think the Rise above the hate could work as a heel shirt, Cena can be like you guys turned on me. I tried being the good guy.
