The best booked wrestler in the last 6 months has been Daniel Bryan? A slow subtle build, without blowing it all in one shot. This AJ stuff has building for a long, long time and none of us can claim that we're bored of it.

Hulk Cena and the Big Slow. They will sell PPV Buyrates!

Kane in the Main Event? What a way to ruin a 4-5 star match. God Vince is a dope!

Kane is really only there to take the pin. There will be a third match between Punk and Bryan. I think.

And I wouldn't write this match off just because Kane is involved. He's not the only one.

This is how I look at it.

Instead of pushing new stars, new wrestlers. The Main Even has a fat worthless slug who you will never see get a match above 3 stars in a 40 year old in the Big Show.

Then you have Glen Jacobs who is 45 years old ruining the Main Event for a 5 star match. Would it really kill the WWE to have Daniel Bryan pin CM Punk?

Tell me, what is the WWE doing with Ziggler, Miz, Kofi and others? Ooooo thats right.

NOTHING!

Well, you've got to strike a balance. We're not the only ones watching this show. To a large portion of the audience, Big Show is a bona fide main-eventer and Dolph Ziggler is the guy that can't a match against anyone important. If you want to watch a promotion that pushes only young guys, watch Ring of Honor. You'll be the only one.

Would it really kill the WWE to have Daniel Bryan pin CM Punk?

No. But it won't kill the WWE to have Glen Jacobs in the main event either. Like it or not, Vince doesn't have his babyfaces take pins clean very often. You should be rejoicing that the guy currently getting the John Cena treatment is CM freaking Punk, and not John Cena.

Tell me, what is the WWE doing with Ziggler, Miz, Kofi and others? Ooooo thats right.

Those are mid-carders. Mid-carders wrestle on the mid-card. Ziggler, Rhodes and maybe Miz will be in main events within a year or so. Just be patient. It took Shawn Michaels 6 years to become a top of the card wrestler. It's a process. When Ziggler and Rhodes start getting reactions that force management to bump them up, they'll be main eventers. It happened with Bryan.

Big Slow doesn't put 1 but in the seat and doesn't sell one PPV. Nobody is going to a WWE Event or watching because of him. Yeah he will get a reaction but nobody is spending their money to see him.

WWE wants to have Daniel Bryan and CM Punk do a best of 3? Keep it between the 2 of them. It wouldn't kill them to let Daniel Bryan get a win.

Kofi, Miz and Ziggler are young and over with the fans. There is a reason they are mid carders. It's because Vince is a FC UKING DOPE!. Ziggler is one of the best wrestlers in the ring, gets a ton of heat and then gets put in a program where he gets jobbed to some fat dancing Funkasaurus in one of the dumbest gimmicks I have seen in years. It's not even the fact he was turned into a jobber in that program, it's the fact that he loses in 2 minutes time.

Look at the Miz. Over as hell, one of the best on the mic from 2009-2011 killing it with the fans. Would it have killed the WWE to let him go over clean against Hulk Cena at WM 27 to establish the Miz as a bona fide Main Event Heel? Hell no.

Shawn Michaels wrestled in a whole different era of the WWE. It's a process argument is absolute BS. WWE had 1 ppv every 4 months and didn't have a weekly show. WWE also had an upper card that had Hogan, Flair , Savage, Warrior and only one belt.

Lets also mention that Michaels was on a jobber tag team due to all of the great tag teams at that time, had a history of doing drugs, partying, hell even got fired from the WWE for his actions and was gone for a year. No mention from you about Shawn Michaels getting suspended for a couple of months for doing steroids. Or Michaels getting his butt kicked in Syracuse, him losing his smile because he didn't want to Job and was heavily into drugs.

There is a reason why it took him 6 years. Coke, Booze, Women, other Drugs, Partying and not willing to Job for others.

Besides Cena, no one wrestler puts butts in the seats. WWE sells tickets on the back of their overall product.

WWE wants to have Daniel Bryan and CM Punk do a best of 3? Keep it between the 2 of them. It wouldn't kill them to let Daniel Bryan get a win.

It wouldn't kill them to have Kane take the pin either. They get another match out of it, and their top(ish) babyface doesn't get pinned.

Plus, it breaks up the series a bit. Punk-Bryan have already wrestled two 1-on-1 matches in the the past month (and like 5 in the past 4 months). Throw Kane in to keep the series fresh.

I agree with this. But Ziggler will get his shot. We'll see how he runs with it when he does.

Look at the Miz. Over as hell, one of the best on the mic from 2009-2011 killing it with the fans. Would it have killed the WWE to let him go over clean against Hulk Cena at WM 27 to establish the Miz as a bona fide Main Event Heel? Hell no.

Difference of opinion there.

Absolutely, but just because you have spots to put young guys in, it doesn't mean they're ready to work main event programs. Punk and Bryan had 10+ years experience before they got to have this program, and that's why it's succeeding. You can't just throw guys out there and hope they can handle it. Well, I wouldn't anyway.

There is a reason why it took him 6 years. Coke, Booze, Women, other Drugs, Partying and not willing to Job for others.

It took Bret 8 years. Which of those apply to him?

Bret Hart from 1984-1991 wrestled in a Hulk Hogan dominated WWE. WWE's business was having the champ draw money via the house show run. TV and PPV wasn't even important. Then WWE got a couple of PPV's a year and a couple of Saturday Night Main Events a year. Hogan during the 1980's only defended the championship on PPV either via Wrestle Mania or Summer Slam. And most of the WM's and Summer Slam's, he was doing tag team matches. The title was hardly defended. Lets not forget that Hogan never ever ever jobbed. Hogan had 1 clean loss on TV/PPV from 1984-1991.

Hogan between 1984-1991 held the title almost 6 years. 1984-1988, 1989-1990, and April 1991 through November 1991. Only Savage got a year, Warrior got 9 months and Slaughter got 3 months with the belt. Savage got the belt because he was the best wrestler in the company and the biggest heel in wrestling. Warrior got the belt due to him being almost as popular as Hogan and was groomed to take over for when Hogan would finally retire. Slaughter was over as a heel to the U.S. Iraq War in 1991 and was a transition champ so Warrior wouldn't have to job to Hogan.

Hart never got a chance because he was a 220lb technical wrestler in the mid card and Hogan would have never given him a chance. Hogan only "sold" for fat worthless slugs like Bundy, One Man Gang, Kamala, Earth Quake or roid out wrestlers like Warrior , Sid Justice and Ric Rude. Could you imagine Hogan giving offense to Bret Hart back then? Please, Hogan had couple of inches of height and 70 pounds of steroid muscle compared to Hart.

WWE could easily have Ziggler, Kofi and the Miz in the main event and be credible. But it's the WWE's fault that they book them like fools and do not give them the chance. Kofi was a pretty popular wrestler and had a chance with Orton. Did the WWE give Kofi a chance to get over with a win? hell no. Miz get f'ed over by not getting a clean win over Cena and Ziggler just gets spat on time and time again by Vince.

WWE painted themselves in the corner that they are in. HHH, Taker are both pretty much retired. Rey cant' stay off of steroids and stay healthy. Orton is a drug addict. Kane and Big Slow are both over the age of 40.

Miz was given his chance. You cannot compare Miz to Kofi and Ziggler. Kofi had a sniff, Ziggler had a taste, Miz had the whole feast.

Miz had a huge chance to become the next star, and IMO it was his fault for failing. Botched promos, boring lame catch phrase, okay matches.

I'm with you on Ziggler, I'd rather see him feud as Ace's pet rather than big show.

I love Kofi, he's not really going far in the Main Event scene though. He was kinda screwed over by bourne. That team coulda been something for a long time.

So it's Miz Fault for Survivor Series 2011? It's Miz fault for the over booked main event at WM 27? WWE would have had a legit Main Event Heel in the Miz if he had pinned Cena clean. 80'000 fans at the Georgia, millions more watching at home and WWE booked the match for the Miz to be the after thought. They could have made a star.

Kofi was screwed over because god forbid Orton did 1 job to him to get him over. Where is Orton now? Oooooooooooo one more drug suspension from a perma ban.

far from it. just making logical points that WWE painted themselves in the corner.

Hell Summer of Punk could have been one of the hottest angles in a long time last year until WWE just had to throw in Kevin Nash and HHH.

Survivor Series? What the :censored: ? What, miz was supposed to kick out of the peoples elbow, hit the rock with his skullcrushing finale and pin him? Throw away a year of Cena vs Rock build up just like that?

You bring up CM Punk, that's perfect. He too was booked into a bad angle with that Nash/HHH crap. Look what happened there though, he overcome it because he's that damn good. Miz is not. Kofi is not.

I said it as soon as Bourne got suspended, that if I was Kofi, I'd hate that guy for life...

To speak the words of one Justin Timberlake.
Where is the love ?

I agree WWE have completely low balled its more hardcore fans on this one. Putting Kane into this match makes very little sense as these 2 guys have put on fantastic matches already. Adding Kane I'm not 100% sure what kind of match we will see, it definitely wont be as good as the last PPV match but its not going to be horrible.

that's how i watch all the ppv's, but im gonna try and supress my hopes that aj screws punk/kane and bryan ends up w/the title. it's gonna be a good match regardless, i'll probably stick w/my original prediction that since punk hasnt yet put a GTS on kane and theyve teased it a little that's how he'll win.

i think that's why kane is in this feud, to prolong the punk/bryan thing w/o people feeling it'll get stale

also hoping dolph/sheamus can put on a great show, and though i love dolph and want him to win, it'll be pretty fun seeing him take a brogue kick
