WWE 13 Official Thread

Anyone else buying the game? It's rumored to have 78 wrestlers. Right around 35 superstars, 35 Legends from the Attitude Era and 8 Divas.
THQ is doing it's roster reveal during Summer Slam Fan Fest which is 3 weeks from now.
Playable Roster:
According to THQ's website, there will be a total of 78 superstars: 38 current, 33 Attitude and 7 Divas.
Obviously guys like Randy Orton and Triple H will be in but until they are officially confirmed I won't post them. There's also guys like Road Dogg and X-Pac confirming themselves through twitter, but, again, I won't post anything until it's official. Here's who's confirmed so far:
Current Generation Superstars:
- CM Punk (In his MITB 2011 attire, "Best In The World" t-shirt as entrance attire, also his Pepsi and Cobra Commander have been replaced with lookalikes)
- Chris Jericho (with his signature light-up jacket during his entrance)
- Big Show (with current camo singlet attire)
- John Cena (with current green themed attire)
- Mark Henry (in his black singlet with red details, "Hall Of Pain" t-shirt during entrance)
- Miz (blue attire similar to last year but now with his signature trench coat as entrance attire)
- Sheamus (with current black/red/gold attire despite earlier builds showing his black/green/white attire)
Attitude Superstars:
- The Undertaker (shown in his pre-Ministry attire)
- Stone Cold Steve Austin (with his signature vest during his entrance)
- Mankind
- Mark Henry (in his Nation Of Domination appearance)
Per-Order Superstar:
- Mike Tyson (with his WrestleMania XIV appearance)
There is also a no-name website the has an apparent "leaked" roster. While it is a rumored list it is looking more legit. For those wondering, here's the "leaked" roster:

Arenas:
There will be a mix of both current age and Attitude Era themed arenas, but so far the confirmed ones are:
RAW (current)
Smackdown (current)
RAW IS WAR (Attitude, with classic WWE logo)
Hell In A Cell
Money In The Bank
Over The Limit
Survivor Series (Attitude, 1998 arena)
New/Improved Features:
- OMG/Spectacular Moments: Like the "OMG" moments on TV, we will now be able to do certain spots like those in the game, from spearing an opponent through the ring barrier to catching a finisher in mid-air to even making the whole ring collapse. These will be preformed similar to finishers but only by certain wrestlers, match types and locations. Yukes is said to be working on special visuals and audio to amplify these moments. So far, confirmed OMG moments are: ring collapsing (requires 3 finishers), spearing through the barricade, thrown off the HIAC, thrown through the HIAC, superplex to the outside of the ring, and announcer table finisher (not detailed). The crowd will even chant "OH MY GOSH" when these moments occur. As far as mid-air finisher catching (during Diving and Springboard attempts), confirmed finishers that can do that are: Codebreaker, Go To Sleep, Chokeslam and World's Strongest Slam.
- Match Experience. As we all know, matches on TV and matches on PPV are very different from each other time-wise. With Match Experience you can change the flow of the match. There will be three settings: "Quick", "Normal" and "Epic". Each setting will have an effect on momentum, damage, A.I., and even kick-out and reversal rates. The "Quick" setting will be similar to televised matches while "Epic" will be more of the PPV type, and "Normal" will obviously be a middle balance between the two.
- Better Weight Detection. While this wasn't really talked about too much, it's said that smaller guys like Rey Mysterio won't be able to slam big guys like Big Show, but instead do some kind of other move.
- "Road to WrestleMania" being replaced by "Attitude Era Mode". It will be a chapter based storymode featuring 8 different popular "Attitude" superstars. The story will obviously be focused on the Attitude era and will feature in-game cutscenes and video packages assembled by WWE's own editors. Matches will feature main and side objectives (such as "pin the opponent" or "put opponent through a table"). There will also be hidden objectives and clearing the overall objectives will result in unlockables. More info on this mode will be released at a later date.
- Improvements on Create-A-Superstar and Universe Mode 3.0 as well as info on new match types, arenas, moves and roster will be released at a later date.
Random Tidbits:
- Special Guest Referee match will return.
- There will be two sets of commentators this year: current (Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler) and Attitude (Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler)
- Climbing and standing on tables and the announcer table returns.
- Six divas will now be able to compete in the ring together.
- The PS3's version will now be able to have 64 layers in Create-A-Superstar mode.
- Breaking Point submissions and the Pin Meter will return. The only difference with the Pin Meter is that pinning is not only influenced by how damaged the opponent is but also what the last move executed was.
- Non-tagged partners can now be controlled.
- Refs will slide to count a pinfall similar to the real-life WWE refs.
- WWE '13 will use the same servers as WWE '12, but apparently improved.
- Weapons will be getting more "realistic" sounds.
- Replays during matches will pause the action and show the replay in full-screen and from different angles.
- Evolution's "Line in the Sand" theme will be in-game.
- Bigger guys like Mark Henry and Big Show are getting beefier character models to represent their bigger size.
- An "Attitude" announcer will be announced soon.
