The Reaglm Promo Cutting Contest
You don't need to take a bump to cut one, but they can be just as iconic as their in-ring counterparts. We all love, overrate and underrate the importance of a good wrestling promo. Why is it that The Hulk can cut a promo, but can't act; and actors can act, but not cut a promo? What is it that makes wrestlers uniquely qualified to excel at these ostentatious displays of manly beat-you-upitude?
Well RealGM, that's for YOU to figure out. I'm looking for the finest mic workers on the board to take their frustrations out in the form of an old school professional wrestling promo!
So here's what you do: Cut a promo no longer than 3 minutes in length, and upload it to youtube. The content on the promo can be anything related to wrestling, or even better, someone on the board that you've been waiting to sound off on.
Once all the promos have been compiled, we'll put them up to a public vote. The top four vote-getters will enter into a final four bracket, then cut promos ON EACH OTHER to determine whose miz skillz reign supreme.
So why play? Well, I know you lot would love to tell me all about the crap job I'm doing. But if that's not enough incentive, I will be taking money from C_C and I's yearly mod budget (which usually goes towards fueling our hedonistic lifestyle, if I'm being honest) to purchase for you, and have delivered to your place of residence, a sweet wrestling T-Shirt of your choosing from one of the following websites:
