Figured we'd start one of these again and post any news that comes out about the game.

The story mode is supposedly supposed to be like the NBA My Player mode, which sounds pretty awesome. As long as they change the stupid WWE Universe mode I'll be fine.

This will be the first WWE game I've purchased since 2011 I think.
I might be reading into it a bit, but I'm assuming Warrior's involvement in the game might also signal his induction into the Hall of Fame. He'll probably be the headliner for next year's class. They're going to have to censor the hell out of his speech for the DVD.

I really hope Warrior shows up for a Raw at some point and delivers one of his amazing nonsense promos in support of the game.

The screens released so far have looked pretty awful. I won't mind the graphics if we get some N64 WrestleMania 2000 game play. And great story mode.

I think they've gone as far as they can go graphically with the current consoles. I'm really
looking forward to see WWE 2K14 on Xbox One and PS4 next year.
I haven't got a WWE game since All-Stars but I might get this years game. I popped in S vs.R from 2007
a couple of weeks ago and it was a blast.

Andre The Giant and I believe Hulk Hogan is confirm to be on the roster, and I haven't buy wrestling games for quite sometime not sure I was going to buy this one until today.
2K Games has announced the single player mode for WWE 2K14, the concept is 30 Years of WrestleMania. This mode will player going through the greatest matches and unforgettable moments in WrestleMania History.
Speaking to Triple H about this mode he stated, "I'm excited for this, to be partnered with 2K, the future is very bright for this franchise". There will be around 45 matches through the mode, and 3 have already been announced. Those matches are:
Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant - WrestleMania 3
The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan - WrestleMania 18
The Rock vs. John Cena - WrestleMania 28
This is just a sampling of the matches in this marquee mode, and further matches will be announced over the next several weeks. As you can see above, this officially means both Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant join the roster for WWE 2K14. Cory Ledesma stated "This is the greatest roster ever assembled", and the rest of the roster will be officially unveiled on August 17th during SummerSlam Fan Axxess in Los Angeles.

Awesome that they got Hogan especially if the theme is 30 years of WM. If they're gonna do
45 matches and are claiming the greatest roster ever assembled I'm thinking there is a good
chance Hall and Nash are in this game for the first time in years. Hopefully we see guys like
Angle, Sid, Yoko, Vader, Batista ect I'd be shocked if Benoit and Owen were in the game though.

They held a contest for fan made covers of the game, and this one won. This fans creation will also be used in the boxes for the game when it's released.

Damn, that's a nice cover. I haven't really been buying any xbox games recently and I hardly ever play it anymore but I'm feeling like I may have to get this. If I do I'll have to renew my xbox live account, because It's only fun if you're making children cry.

Awesome that JBL is included. He played that character up really well back in the day. That was around the time I started to not care as much about wrestling anymore but I remember that character and hating him (in the good heel way).
