This Sunday we have the next WWE PPV coming up, WWE Battleground in Buffalo, New York

A nice description of what will take place, straight from the PPV's own wikipedia page

Battleground features professional wrestling matches that will involve wrestlers from pre-existing feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WWE's primary television programs, Raw and SmackDown. Wrestlers will portray villains or heroes as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches

Orton over Bryan, but it's not clean. They're going to drag this out a little longer.

RVD over ADR. Ricardo turns heel, Sandow cashes in and wins.

Ryback over Punk, but it's not clean. Axel run in, I guess.

Rhodes over The Shield. Maybe some post-match shenanigans with Goldust turning heel and being offered a job... warming to the idea of splitting the Rhodes, though I think they could have a decent tag title run.

Bella over AJ. HHH/Bryan storyline pops up here somehow.

Axel over R-Truth.

Sandow over Ziggler.

Bray Wyatt and Kofi Kingston was rumoured. Wyatt wins and kidnaps Kofi for repackaging.

Why does R-Truth have a title match?

Because having Axel beat R-Truth cleanly is believable, but having him beat someone much better like Ziggler isn't.

Seems like a decent B-Level PPV. Some good to decent looking matches, I'm gonna skip this one though.

We just had a PPV 3 weeks ago. And we've got another in 3 weeks. Ugh.

Anyway, predictions:

Orton over Bryan in screwy fashion.

RVD over ADR. Sandow cashes in either after the match or on Raw.

Punk over Ryback.

Rhodes Bros over The Shield.

Brie over AJ.

R-Truth over Axel. The end of the Axel/Heyman experiment is coming.

Ziggler over Sandow.

Bray over Kofi.

And not just that, but its a match that's had absolutely zero build. There had been literally no interaction between Ziggler and Sandow prior to the match being announced. The extent of the build for this match has been Sandow doing commentary on Smackdown for the Ziggler/ADR match. And they've been building towards another match between Ziggler and Ambrose.

Its not a big deal but its one of those instances where I just don't understand how WWE came to the conclusion they did. I've gotta believe there was some other plan that fell through for whatever reason and they hastily just threw this together. But even then, you could've had a 30 second backstage segment where they pass each other in the hall and Sandow makes some snide comment about how Ziggler needs to get in line with the regime then Dolph attacks him, they have to be separated and then the match is announced.

My predictions

Orton over Bryan, I agree that it will probably take at least 1 more PPV for D-Bry to get the title, but it wouldn't surprise me if they once again found a way to name Bryan winner only to strip him of the belt.

Del Rio over RVD. I don't feel a Sandow cash in coming so I think Del Rio stays champ through another PPV

Ryback over Punk, I could see Punk winning here too, but if he does I feel like Ryback will probably get pushed aside in the storyline and it will go back to revolving around Punk/Heyman, and I think it would be better to build something between Punk and Ryback here for a little bit.

Rhodes over Shields, Obviously Cody is going to wrestle again in the company, so you'd assume they would have to win here. Right?

AJ over Brie, I feel like Brie and Bryan will win the titles on the same night so they can make a thing out of it on Total Divas, so I think AJ remains champ for now.

R-Truth over Axel, R-Truth hasn't done anything noteworthy in a long time but he'll come out and yell whatsup and Axel can't get 1/4 of the people who yell whatsup back to even quietly boo for him. He's had time to establish himself, he's got the best talker in the business on his side and still nothing. I think he loses here and we start to see the Heyman/Axel relationship come to an end.

Ziggler over Sandow, Sandow lost to Santino on Main Event this week. Since winning MITB the only person he's been consistently beating is Justin Gabriel.

If Kofi gets kidnapped as SDM suggests that could be the best thing to happen to his career in a while.

My prediction:

Orton over Bryan. Probably some screwy finished, and will drag this feud a bit longer.

Del Rio over RVD I don't think Sandow will cashes yet no matter win this match I think Del Rio will retain his title.

Ryback over Punk I think it will make more sense for Ryback to win to give him that good push, and continue the feud with Punk and "Heyman guys"

Shields over Rhodes I could see one of the Rhodes I'm guessing Dustin Rhodes turn heel, cost his own family loss the match, and their jobs. I could see Dustin will be the one get the contract the next night because he dids what's good for business, and develop the storyline more with the Rhodes family, and possible setup brother vs brother feud.

Brie over AJ via DQ I could see them continue their feud until Hell In the Cell which this time Brie will be the one win the Diva Title, or AJ retain her title

Ziggler over Sandow, let the losing streak continues!

Wyatt over Kofi

There's a scenario where the Sandow-Ziggler match could be a positive harbinger of things to come. Ziggler will almost certainly win and if Sandow cashes in the MITB that gives Dolph a way to insert himself into the MITB picture.

This should be one of the better matches of the night. ADR can't get over, but he can work, and RVD in a hardcore match is certainly preferable to RVD in a standard match. Hopefully they get 15+ minutes.

"Hardcore rules" match better not mean "Singular chair" match.

Great sell from ADR.

Well they've been teasing a Van Terminator so we'll obviously get that, at least.
