First match of 2015, and 8th match since 2010 to win a 5 star match award. Probably best match I have seen in years.

I thought it was really good, but it didn't scream "5-Star Match" (whatever that even means) to me.

Don't see what the big deal is about these 5 star matches. Who picks them?

It was a really good match, being a big Shinsuke fan I'd say it was on par with some of his better matches from last year, where he had 11 matches that got between 4 1/4 and 4 3/4 stars. I think maybe the hype surrounding the event earned them an extra quarter or half a star, not that it really means anything at the end of the day.

I'd agree with that, it's the best match I've seen in any company since I've returned in Sept 2013... if I wanted to show the uninitiated what pro wrestling is all about--showmanship, impressive physicality, drama-- this would be a fantastic place to start. Never seen any NJPW and I was blown away by Nakamura and now want half of WWE's roster to head there to face him. Ibushi's not bad either.

This was a helluva match, when I saw it I thought it was the best match I'd seen in months. 40 minutes later, I thought this was the second best match I'd seen in the last hour.
