This RAW has been so amazing so far. I still can't believe we've got local jobbers back on tv.

I get that they wanted to start with a bang, but that was easily the best raw in I don't know how long. Maybe since I started watching WWE again after wm30.

They showed why picking Balor was a great move to energize the show. And he delivered the goods. And they got the 2 best women - maybe the 3 best, the best tag teams, the best of pretty much everything. And they're even having the cruiserweights.

Re: WWE Raw Discussion I
That is probably the best RAW I have see for quite sometime it will be interesting how Smackdown respond, and most important if this can keeps up with the quality of the shows.

Good on them for recognizing that saying it's a new era and actually delivering a new era are two different things and they delivered. They need to elevate some of these guys and quickly.
They put on great matches, long matches but you couldn't turn it off. Cole still sucks, I hate that he adopted JR's "Stone Cold, Stone Cold" and does it to every wrestler in every moment, sometimes just shut up and let the picture tell the story.

I like JBL on Legends, he does good interviews in that role I find. He should be like the Larry King of WWE in some ways doing some detailed interviews with guys before the big four PPV's to build some additional hype as opposed to being a weekly commentator.

Re: WWE Raw Discussion I
This Raw was AMAZING. Pushing Finn to instant main event status was the right call. Balor is a great performer and will only look better with top performers with him. Rollins vs Balor at Summerslam will be incredible and probably a match of the year contender. Has anyone had a better debut night on the main roster than Finn last night? Balor will probably be the underdog in most of his matches due to his size. He was being tossed around like a rag doll on several occasions but the guys did a great job of selling his moves. Say what you want about Roman but he took that corner drop kick like a champ and sold the hell out of it.
The whole show seemed fresh from the start and I like the changes they have made to the announcers position and the pre and post interviews. Corey Graves instead of JBL has made a huge difference to the announcing quality. I think I heard Graves has been Cole's protege since he switched to announcing and it showed with the chemistry they had together. Now if only they can get rid of Byron Saxton......
The match of the night though was Sasha vs Charlotte. I was surprised they didn't wait for Summerslam to put the belt on Sasha but if they wanted to start Raw with a bang they delivered with this match. The spots these two women pulled out where amazing. That moonsault from the top rope to the outside by Charlotte was incredible. They really told a great story in the ring and I loved how Sasha paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero by throwing the belt to Dana Brooke and pretending she was going to hit her with it. They gave the division a huge boost with this match and hopefully they can out do it at Summerslam.
Smackdown has a tough act to follow if this is the quality Raw will produce from here on out. Can't see how they can possibly top this without really going out of the box with ideas. I am hoping for a NJPW tournament style system or a band new belt idea.

Re: WWE Raw Discussion I
That was one of my favorite non post-WM Raw's in a long time. And I enjoy those more for the crowd than anything else.
I feel like Gallows and Anderson have to play into the finish of Rollins-Balor. Maybe they align with Balor and we get the long-awaited Rollins face turn but I think putting them with Rollins could be really good as well.

That top rope backflip to the outside of the ring by Flair was completely nuts.

Finn is good and all but his finisher is straight garbage in my opinion. For a guy a skilled as him you'd think he/they would be be able to come up with something much better?

He also does "1916" but can't pull that off on larger wrestlers.
