NXT Takeover: Toronto (Saturday, Nov. 19)

I'm going to all three events this weekend but this is the one I'm most excited about.

1. Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship
2. Asuka (c) vs. Mickie James for the NXT Women's Championship
3. Bobby Roode vs. Tye Dillinger
4. The Authors of Pain (Rezar and Akam) vs. TM-61 (Nick Miller and Shane Thorne) Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament final
5. The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) (c) vs. DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) Two-out-of-three falls match for the NXT Tag Team Championship

Revival vs. DIY has potential to be one of the greatest NXT matches ever.

Is that Paul Ellering stipulation real, or just an awesome reference to the old Road Warriors stuff?

Ha, I saw it on Wikipedia and subsequently found some sketchy links online "reporting" it, but now I'm not really sure -- I'll take it out until we find out more either way.

Bobby Roode vs Tye Dillinger could get the best some of the crowd reactions ever

This Takeover doesn't have a debut announced yet, which is uncommon.

"The Return" (Elias Samson) vs. "The End" (Tommy End)

Same here. Saturday night is my annual beer share (Beersgiving) with my buddies, and none of them still watch wrestling (some never did), so I'll have to catch Takeover on Sunday morning probably.

As far as debuts go, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Tommy End make an unannounced appearance. I really hope they don't try to change up his character very much, and let him do his dark culty vibe that he has in character and real life.

Surprised this show hasn't sold well I've seen it advertised a lot and went on ticket master today and there was still
plenty of tickets available. With the buzz of NXT I just assumed it would sell out immediately in a big market. Saw lower
bowl tickets for $35 which is a steal. I haven't watched NXT since Takeover Brooklyn so I might get some tickets tomorrow
to support the industry and I know NXT PPV's always deliver.

The ACC is just too big for NXT.

They should have held the event at Ricoh and it would have been electric.

I just got back from the ACC box office there's still lots of tickets available for Monday Night Raw as well :-?

I wonder if the apathy in the market is because we haven't got a PPV in 10 years or RAW in 3 years or just because
people aren't into the current product. During the Attitude era the freaking Skydome was sold out for RAW

Am I the only one that hates the Authors of Pain's finisher? I feel like a good rule of thumb for big guys' finishers is that because of their size others shouldn't be able to do the move on them. But their finisher could be done by anybody.

That match was soooo good. And I'm surprised by the finish as I thought we'd get Ciampa turning on Gargano
