It's telling how far back AJ is on that poster.

Always look forward to who the "surprise" entrants will be. Who's it going to be this year? Angle? Joe? Balor? I assume Michaels will not be in it regardless of his appearance on Raw. Maybe if his appearance had gone better...

• The Rumble match doesn't go on last, Cena/Styles does

• Samoa Joe debuts in the Rumble and eliminates one of Brock, Goldberg, or the Undertaker

• Tye Dillinger debuts in the Rumble at 10

• RVD is a surprise entrant

• Shaquille O'Neal is a surprise entrant

And the 4 guys in front are all part-timers

And the picture they used of Taker is hilarious. He hasn't looked like that in 5 or 6 years, maybe longer.

R Truth in the same spot at Styles cheesing gave me a laugh.

Dumb to have Taker appear on Raw. Would've been way cooler as a surprise entrant.

No way they'd put a singles match after the Rumble. Crowd will be so dead no matter who it is.

Taker wins by eliminating Brock.

When you're trying to sell out a 60k seat stadium, ya tend to want your audience to know that one of their biggest stars/a native Texan is gonna be there

Wwe is the draw. Texans aren't buying tickets to the rumble because Taker is from there. That's silly.

Couldn't agree more. I'd bet 90% of casual wrestling fans don't even know Taker is from Texas considering it has never been brought up on WWE tv.

Triple H will get no heat for screwing Rollins out of the Rumble.

They have given us no reason to care for Rollins, or to root for him winning the Rumble. Triple H still hasn't showed up to establish and play his role as an antagonist to Rollins so that we can get some real heel/face dynamic going.

Triple H will show up at the Rumble, get a massive return pop and Rollins being eliminated will get lost in the noise.

I feel like its been a few years since it really felt like the Royal Rumble was wide open. Last year it seemed like HHH or Reigns were the only real options, 2 years ago Reigns and Bryan, 3 years Bryan and Batista, 4 years ago Jericho was the overwhelming favorite and I think they went with Sheamus primarily as a swerve.

But this year I'd say all of the following are legit options: Undertaker (The favorite), Strowman, Jericho, Samoa Joe, if he's healthy Finn Balor and I don't outright dismiss the possibility of a simultaneous elimination between Lesnar and Goldberg and we get those two and Reigns in a 3-way. More surprising but not totally out of the realm of possibility, Nakamura and if they really want to feel like they're giving AJ Styles a big match, Shane McMahon.

They really lost their chance to make Rollins a major player in the company. They completely botched his return and have continued botching his character along the way. Rollins could have been the biggest face in the company but instead, he's just another guy now.

He could have been the next CM Punk, as the gray sorta kinda heel who does it his way. His return was fine, as he immediately killed the pop he was getting from the crowd by tearing into them and saying he didn't want their approval. It was aligning him back with Reigns is what killed him and made him corny. I have no idea what his match is at the Rumble either, if he even has one. That is dropping the ball big time. I suppose him being a finalist in the Rumble and getting screwed by HHH yet again works as far as starting up their hype for WM.

I understand that they've hyped a Triple H/Rollins program for years now. I don't understand why.

I think they cooled down a bit on him after his injury and the fact he kept on injuring guys. The Finn Balor injury
really messed up his planned programming for months as they've just been biding their time waiting till now to
kick start the HHH feud.

Also I think the brand split has made the mens single division kind of stale with lack of fresh credible opponents.
With the Curiserweights, growing womens division and booming tag-team division there isn't much growth for
the male singles wrestlers. Then you split up the heels and baby faces and less guys to work with on RAW.

When you have a feud with two former allies and one betrays the other, that shared history and that betrayal needs to be constantly talked about and explained. When Seth turned on The Shield, he was always talking about why he did it. And Dean and Roman, Dean especially, were constantly reacting to what he said. But here, Seth's talking a little about it but he's largely just spinning his wheels so people don't completely forget about the angle. How ridiculous would it be if after Seth turned on The Shield he disappeared for 4.5 months, because that's basically what we've gotten.

Here's my power rankings i terms of likelihood to win

1. Undertaker, 2. Strowman, 3. Jericho, 4. Balor (if he's in the match I think he wins), 5. Brock, 5. Goldberg, 7. Samoa Joe, 8. Baron Corbin, 9. Nakamura and 10. Sami Zayn

Won't happen...

But I'd like to see Jericho win the Royal Rumble. I think it's the perfect twist for probably the best story line the last several
months in the company. The best friends end up facing each other for the world tittle at Wrestlemania. Both of them deserve
a high profile match at Mania for the outstanding work they've put in during this angle.

Plus Jericho has never won the Rumble and it would be great for his resume. I doubt it will happen especially if he's gonna
be touring with Fozzy in the summer unless they can squeeze him in as a transition champ for somebody else. Also wouldn't
mind keeping the belt on KO and him leaving the comedic route and becoming a bad ass.

I'd like to see Bobby Roode more than RVD or Shaq.

I'll go with Corbin as the surprise winner.
