Not really excited for this show at all. Tag and women's match should be fun. But I'm just not enjoying this Roode/Nakamura feud.

Nakamura should've gotten his rematch a week or two after TakeOver San Antonio, but they did the injury angle and killed the feud for me. I'm tired of the pattern of lose title-rematch-call-up in NXT. So uncreative.

They did it with Bálor/Joe, Joe/Nakamura, and now Nakamura/Roode. All of those feuds have been lackluster because of it.

I think in general they haven't done a good job in building main event feuds in NXT. Joe/Nakamura is probably the best one since NXT got big. Balor/Joe wasn't good from the start, partially due to the booking of them in that initial tag tournament (Joe should have turned on Balor to cost them the tournament). Nakamura/Roode was really boring from the start and doesn't even feel like a feud at this point because Nakamura has been so scarce since losing the title.

I'd sit through 90mins of Dana Brooke matches to get to the triple threat tag title match. I'm super pumped about it.

i agree. I thought the Joe/Shinsuke stuff was really good leading into the rematch. The top 3 matches on this card are very good. We'll probably get the perfect 10 vs Eric Young in there somewhere too. As usual, takeover will blow away wrestlemania

Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, No Way José & Ruby Riot vs. SAnitY: Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dain & Nikki Cross

Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, No Way Jose, & Ruby Riot Vs. Sanity (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dain, & Nikki Cross)
Going with the faces in this one and hoping Dillinger gets a shot at the NXT Title against Roode at the next Takeover.

Andrade Almas vs. Aleister Black
Don't see Black losing his "debut," which is unfortunate for Almas since he's been great lately. Still, maybe they surprise us. Ohno just lost his first match back, after all.

The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) (c) vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) vs. The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder)
Toughest match on the card to call. I think DIY and the Revival team up early to eliminate the Authors of Pain, which means new champions.

Asuka (c) vs. Ember Moon
Asuka has held on to that title forever. I'm guessing Ember shocks her with a win, then Asuka snaps and destroys her after the match, leading to the full heel turn they've been flirting with the past few months.

Bobby Roode (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Nakamura's main roster bound.

The NXT championship is perfect. Why would they change it?

Meh. I always thought the NXT Title looked like a kid designed it. Doesn't look like a Championship should imo.

Wow, no kidding. I'm extremely curious if this factored in at all.

I don't love the idea of new belts for NXT. I like the way they look now. They're different. I'm afraid they're going to make them look identical to the main roster belts, which would be awful.

Yup. As long as they're not following the stupid main roster title change themes I'll most likely be happy with the changes.

I think the NXT Women's Title looks way too girly anyway. It looks a lot like the former Diva's Title, and I feel like they're trying to get away from that image anyway so it makes sense to change. That girly belt just doesn't look right over the shoulders of women like Asuka and Ember.

I've never been a huge fan of the NXT Championship design either. I've always thought it looked amateurish, which made sense when NXT was essentially the minor league development program. It makes less sense now though that NXT has a ton of star power and sells out arenas for big shows.

I honestly don't even remember what the NXT Tag Titles look like.

No Way Jose was attacked by Sanity at Axxess and had to be stretchered out.

Ohno? Itami?
