Gargano sells better than just about anyone in WWE, which is a big reason why the attack came off so well. He makes himself look like such a sympathetic figure that it's hard to not pull for him (if you have a heart). I really hope they play up a lot of their real life friendship during this feud. I want them to go as far as having Ciampa attack Gargano so brutally on an occasion that they have to abruptly introduce Candice Lerae (Gargano's wife) to make Ciampa stop. They can really make this feud something epic. It could very well be the best thing to ever happen in NXT if it's done right.

that would be rather awesome. Also since LaRae can't take a bump (or 2 million) Ciampa should go hit her with his finisher (whose name escapes me right now) to really bring up the blood feud bit.

Either way this should be a fantastic feud since Gargano is such a sympathetic face whilst Ciampa at his best is a pyscho heel who is absolutely vindictive.

The look on Gargano's face just as he realizes what's happening. So good!

Gargano is the next Daniel Bryan. Dude's just so obviously a star in the making. Can't wait for him and Ciampa to tear the house down at the next Takeover.

This is the new bar.

And they're just 20 and 23 years old - amazing. Dunne is a born heel - so much fun to watch inside and outside the ring.

There are rumors that they may not even make it to Brooklyn for the feud. The word is WWE wants to bring them up to the main roster very soon. I just hope they don't screw up this story.

The kayfabe on this Gargano/Ciampa storyline is shaping up nicely already.

"The full extent of Gargano’s injuries, however, is currently unknown, as the former NXT Tag Team Champion refuses to talk to anyone following the harrowing aftermath of TakeOver’s Ladder Match main event.

Without Gargano’s consent, doctors cannot release his full medical status, WWE.com confirmed."

Watching Takeover and then Backlash really hit home one thing for me...a hot crowd really, really adds to an event. For Takeover, the crowd was molten for basically every match. They were on the edge of their seat for every near fall. They were totally in to everything that was happening.

And then for Backlash, the crowd was good, but nowhere near as hot. It made a huge difference.

The Ciampa/Gargano story just keeps getting better. I love that they're kayfabe'ing the hell out of it.

2 weeks ago, celebrating Tomasso's birthday at the apartment he shares (shared) with Gargano and Candice...
