Very solid opening segment. The Thunderdome presentation with virtual fans is a digestible look. The locker room clearing to fend off retribution was cool.

Gran Metalik almost killed himself. Jeez. I feel like I’ve seen him botch that over the top rope hurricanranna multiple times now.

ThunderDome is ok, but makes no big difference.
Fans are missing.

Yeah, it’s definitely lacking the fan energy, for sure. But the visual presentation is better than before, IMO. It’s easier to look at.

Right.
But maybe they improve some things in the next time.
Today it is the first day in the Amway Center...

The Thunder Dome looks cool and it's great to have the Smackdown set back and be in an arena looks
a thousand times better then the Performance Center....

But it's like putting lipstick on a pig with this crappy roster and Vinces crappy booking. Why should I care
about Retribution or RAW underground when the hacker angle went completely nowhere? I'm so tired of
giving stuff a chance and it leads to nothing and is shelved and forgotten about just a waste of time to
the viewer.

Vinces "You never saw it coming" line was mildly interesting but It's basically expect the worst and hope
for the best in modern WWE.

They've done a terrible job making Otis feel like a threat with the briefcase. At this point they need to do a feud with a heel to get the briefcase off of him. AJ, Corbin, or Sami makes the most sense. Sami with MITB would be perfect. Or maybe whoever the leader of Retribution is?

Maybe the storyline is that Otis forgets to cash in the briefcase until the next MITB-PPV.^^
(also because they have no idea how to use him in the shows...)

S. Zayn Comeback!
And it seems that Vince is now on the SD-Roster. It was his second appearance in a row. But he looks very bad.

Roman Reigns is seemingly a Paul-Heyman-Guy.

Why reveal that on a random episode of SmackDown? That's the kind of twist you reveal to end a PPV. Like WrestleMania 31. Or WrestleMania 34. Or SummerSlam 2018.

I'm not mad, I just think that reveal could've been way bigger. I'm glad they're doing something different with Roman. He is definitely a heel now.

That was definitely a surprise wow! When he said, "It's not a spoiler, it's a prediction" it sounded familiar.

Than pans to Heyman with the " Believe that" damn. These two fit like a glove.

I've always wondered what's with the shirt statement last SummerSlam. Now I know why

So this some sort of Tweener-Heel-Heel championship match? Wonder how this'll go.

SD has lots of interesting storylines brewing right now

Oh my god they actually turned him heel

HALLELUJAH!!!

they just need to follow their own damn formula regarding star creation and let him naturally transition back to being a face in about 2-3 years.

Yeah give Sami the briefcase so he can finally get a world championship, it's been too damn long.

It’s a good time to turn Roman too as wwe can control the narrative.

Roman is one of their top talents and I’m super happy for him as I’m sure he was just as frustrated with his bland creative. Not gonna lie though, it’s going to be bother me that the marks are happy because they can finally cheer Roman now that he’s a heel. Makes no damn sense.
