I think he was 180 on the indies. He’s definitely put on mass since then. Can’t be more than 200 though.

Heel Daniel Bryan is the best Daniel Bryan.

Becky vs Charlotte vs Rousey is WrestleMania main event worthy too

Could be interesting. I usually try to give things time in WWE instead of jumping to conclusions like a lot of people do.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

"Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game."

Loved the heel turn. Great boost to a character gone stale.

Exactly. Finally, no more YES. The best mind in the business can finally create something new. I’m so excited.

I’m perfectly fine with the decision. I just don’t get the timing.

AJ losing and DB turning heel are both huge things. Why do it on a random smack down? This should of been Rumble at the very least.

To get Bryan and Brock at SS I would assume. It’s possible they consider it a bigger match than AJ-Brock 2 and switched champions when they learned about Becky. That match was probably scheduled to be the main event.

By the way, where’s the dude that said Bryan was being punished for skipping Crown Jewel?

I’m glad they did it on Smackdown. You need the element of surprise every now and then. Smackdown usually feels like the B show when it comes to the attention it usually receives. It didn’t tonight. The show felt important.

Giving a dude a main title and a match with Lesnar is not a punishment.

Lol exactly. If he was being punished he would be pushed down to the mid card, not the main event. Narratives I guess.

Honestly, I'm not shocked. I made a post a few weeks back about how the Daniel Bryan character was stuck in a bad place and Bryan Danielson the dude had expressed his desire to do new things. Bryan's career has been defined by continuous change. I cant imagine he was happy doing the YES stuff every night. I bet he's been asking for this for a while.

Yeah for sure, he is a guy that wants to do new things. No way he would have resigned if he wasn't allowed a degree of creative control either.

So i guess WWE just realized people want something more edgy, hence the Bryan turn. Thank you, Becky.

This becomes a lot more interesting now. Who's face in this match? Heel Bryan can now factor in cheap tactics to win, making this match unpredictable.

Becky choosing Flair isn't a bad idea. Storytelling wise, it made sense. It's not as if Becky settled for just anyone, she chose the next big thing. Tip-toeing the fine line in keeping a bad-ass character and showing a soft side due to the bad news was tricky, and they pulled it off. She was given sympathy without her looking weak.

Finally something I'd invest on every week.

Lots of possibilities here, this is what WWE has been missing the past few years, turns by quality big name stars. if it were up to me, here's how I'd book things going forward

Rousey beats Charlotte at SS and eventually turns heel. her feuds over the next few months on raw are vs Sasha and bayley, who she essentially destroys. That's 3 out of the 4 horsewomen she's beaten, the only one left, your 2019 royal rumble winner, becky Lynch, who chooses to face Rousey at mania and defeats her for the title

For the men's side, I think they have all the makings for a Miz face turn and rumble win. Miz can talk about how he tried to tell ppl this is the real Daniel bryan, a selfish ego maniac who only cares about himself and brie and was never about the fans. he wins the rumble and gets his Mania moment once again by beating bryan for the gold.

Heel Bryan against face Miz at WM would be something I could absolutely get behind.

Loved the heel turn last night. Also I loved it being on Smackdown too -- the two biggest heel turns in recent memory (Bryan last night, Ambrose a couple of weeks ago) came on TV as opposed to PPV's. Things like that generate more excitement for PPV's, IMO, instead of having all of the big moments come on PPV's. It also makes the unpredictability factor of each show go up, which should make RAW and SD better too.

I'm actually somewhat excited for Survivor Series now, which definitely is a change in pace for me.

Miz DB
Rollins Ambrose
Becky Rousey

Should all be on the card for the titles for next year's Mania.

Those are all matches that I can get behind.

Face Miz vs heel Bryan sounds like a huge mistake to me. Miz has no track record of being an effective face.
