Wonder if Coal is going to pull double duty and wrestle in the tag team championship match?

Also, this is a fantastic card.

Given how much we expect from our NXT Men's Champion, its hilarious to think that Bo Dallas had a lengthy reign. I'm not saying he was a bad champion, in fact I think he was quite good, he would just never have that opportunity these days.

Yeah, when you look at the list of former NXT champs, he's really the one guy who stands out as having never really accomplished anything outside of NXT, barring of course guys that haven't been called up yet like Almas and McIntyre (this run).

Neville is probably second, but he got some decent pushes in the lower/mid card and was the Cruiserweight Champ for a long time.

Zayn hasn't held any main roster titles (which is borderline criminal given his talent), but he's been involved in main event angles for a while now and has wrestled in numerous reasonably high profile PPV matches.

Most of the other guys have been world champs, mid-card champs, tag champs, or, like Nakamura, just won the Rumble and heading to a main event of Wrestlemania.

I hope velveteen dream wins the title, make it the title for the home grown talent.

I think Cole has to pull double duty.

Shayna is winning and they'll put ember on the main roster probs

I think almas will retain but it's a hard one to call

The unsanctioned match will be fantastic though.

Did Triple H drink a gallon of spray tan before filming that?

The main event is hard to say who wins. Almas and Black are both ready to be called up but I think Black wins and holds the title until SS weekend.

My predictions (winners in bold):

NXT Women's Championship - Ember Moon vs. Shayna Baszler
Feel like they have to pull the trigger on Baszler here. She needs that marquee win to legitimize her, and the main roster needs more women who know how to work so they can start jettisoning some of the dead weight (not a Nia joke, I promise). Give Baszler her win so she can feud with Kairi and/or Kai and send Ember up where she can add some much needed talent to the women's divisions.

NXT Tag Team Championship - The AOP vs. the Undisputed Era vs. Roderick Strong & Pete Dunne
With the news that Bobby Fish is out at least six months, I think this is the perfect time to finally turn Strong. Have him join the Undisputed Era during the match, turning on Dunne. Afterward, he can be the other half of the tag champs with O'Reilly, leaving Cole to be the singles guy.

NXT North American Championship - EC3 vs. Ricochet vs. Adam Cole vs. Killian Dain vs. Lars Sullivan vs. Velveteen Dream
Holy hell is this a tough one to call. Basically any of these guys could conceivably win it, and I don't see any of them being called up the next few nights (maybe Sanity?). I'm going to go with Cole. I always like when you have a faction where all the guys have gold, and with Strong joining the Undisputed Era, you'll have Cole with the NA Title and and Strong/O'Reilly with the tag gold.

Unsanctioned Match - Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa
This has a pretty damn good shot of being the best match during a weekend that will see Nakamura and Styles face off for the second time and Andrade Almas defending the NXT Title against Aleister Black. I think Gargano wins, because he has to get an NXT Championship run at some point, right? Right?!?

NXT Championship Match - Aleister Black vs. Andrade Almas
Given the role they gave him in the Royal Rumble, I think Almas is main roster bound next week. Beyond that, Black has been one of the best parts of NXT for months now, and there are some great heels around in Cole and EC3 for him to feud with as the face champ.

---

Man...this is gonna be a damn good show, isn't it?

I'm the only one who likes the NA title belt apparently.

Ok, cool. That's a relief. Every podcast I've listened to has completely **** on it.

Me too. Weird. He's Corey Graves if Corey Graves was bad at broadcasting.

Changing my prediction for the ladder match from Ricochet to Cole. Originally was thinking Ricochet or EC3 but I think they have Cole win it and Strong turns and joins the Undisputed Era in the tag match.
