LLJ wrote:Although this time he'll get cheered, I would laugh if the Saudis unexpectedly booed Roman and Vince has to yet again abort another Roman coronation attempt.
Vince's quest for getting Roman cheered when he wins the Universal title borders on absurdity.
LLJ wrote:I don't even hate Roman, but it's absurd that they would ruin shows and the guy's character just to find the best place so he can get cheered. I wish they would have just had him go over at 34 and just accepted the boos. But Vince is a control freak. Everything has to be just so for him.
I'm convinced that if they just committed to him and didn't worry about audience control, he wouldn't have gotten booed so regularly. It's obvious attempts at trying to make the crowd love him that really piss people off. All the aborted attempts at coronating Roman because he got booed have just dragged this whole push out even more, which just annoys fans even more.

He comes off like a d-bag in most of the non-WWE interviews I've seen with him. He dresses like a heel. He acts like a heel. There's no reason for the guy to be a face other than Vince's refusal to turn him. He'd be the biggest heel they've had in years if he turned.
I feel like WWE is costing themselves a lot of money long-term by keeping him a face for so long, because they are irreparably damaging his character and also hurting their brand when casuals tune in for the biggest event of the year and hear "this is awful" and "this is boring" in the main event. They also saw a twelve year old kid get more crowd reaction than the main event in the match prior.

Dolph is setting a bad example to these type of guys.
