I, for one, am excited to see Brock vs Roman again.

Curious to see what the winner of the Rumble gets.

Should be the main event of Summerslam. Probably won't, but I think that would be fun.

AJ-Shinsuke-Bryan in a triple threat match, possibly?

Although this time he'll get cheered, I would laugh if the Saudis unexpectedly booed Roman and Vince has to yet again abort another Roman coronation attempt.

Vince's quest for getting Roman cheered when he wins the Universal title borders on absurdity.

If you have to send a guy to a country that you probably won't visit again for five years just to get cheered, he's probably not the guy you should be building your company around.

I don't even hate Roman, but it's absurd that they would ruin shows and the guy's character just to find the best place so he can get cheered. I wish they would have just had him go over at 34 and just accepted the boos. But Vince is a control freak. Everything has to be just so for him.

I'm convinced that if they just committed to him and didn't worry about audience control, he wouldn't have gotten booed so regularly. It's obvious attempts at trying to make the crowd love him that really piss people off. All the aborted attempts at coronating Roman because he got booed have just dragged this whole push out even more, which just annoys fans even more.

What they should have done was just have him turn heel and tried to get him over gradually rather than trying to force him down our throats as a face. He's an awful face. He comes off like a d-bag in most of the non-WWE interviews I've seen with him. He dresses like a heel. He acts like a heel. There's no reason for the guy to be a face other than Vince's refusal to turn him. He'd be the biggest heel they've had in years if he turned.

I feel like WWE is costing themselves a lot of money long-term by keeping him a face for so long, because they are irreparably damaging his character and also hurting their brand when casuals tune in for the biggest event of the year and hear "this is awful" and "this is boring" in the main event. They also saw a twelve year old kid get more crowd reaction than the main event in the match prior.

They should have turned him heel and had him focus on work rate. If he goes out there and constantly puts on great matches, the fans will eventually come around to him. The issue now is that he seems like he's gotten worse in the ring over the past year or so. It feels like he's never been more limited in the ring, as his matches have slowly been whittled down to about four moves that he just spams over and over and over again. When's the last time he put on an objectively good singles match? With Braun? Because that was eons ago. I feel like his last great singles matches were with AJ Styles, and those were like two years ago (and it's probably fair to credit AJ more for their greatness).

Rusev has been pulled from the Greatest Royal Rumble event and will be replaced by Chris Jericho in the match against Undertaker.

Unsurprisingly, this comes shortly after Lana gave an interview where she brought up the fact that WWE was running a show in a country where women weren't allowed to perform. Gee...I wonder if the two things are related.

Oh boyyyyy. Taker was hardly impressive against an in-shape Cena. This is gonna be hilarious.

EDIT: Rusev took the "WWE" part off his twitter handle. Holy ****! If this isn't a work, then this is sad news. Then again he does this all the time.

It wouldn't be wise for him to leave WWE, because WWE owns the rights to Alexander Rusev, Rusev, and Rusev Day. His momentum would dip a bit at first I think. But he's talented enough to rebound. Not sure what he's got left on his contract though.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

"Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game."

They pretty much killed Reigns in the eyes of fans when they had him kick out of FIVE f*cking f5's. This is the worst kind of attempt at audience manipulation ever in the WWE. You could almost say it hurt the industry. No matter what happens from here, this will not end well. On a night when Cena got squashed and couldn't kick out of one Tombstone and Undefeated Asuka tapping in 6 seconds to a one-armed Figure 8, fans were not in the mood to see Reigns look like Superman and **** over one of the most protected finishers in WWE history up to this point.

The main event was rightfully **** on and I don't think Reigns can recover.

This is all Vince.

He could just do what Ryback did and legally change his name, which basically prevents WWE from doing anything about him using the name. He'd have to drop the Rusev Day gimmick, but the dude has basically gotten over every gimmick he's been given, so I don't think it's going to be much of an issue for him.

Rusev strikes me as a guy who, like Aries and Cody, is going to make a ton more money working the indies than he ever would with a WWE that completely refuses to push him no matter how over he gets himself. Other promotions will see how popular he has been able to get himself consistently and they'll book him. He's got the size, look, and credibility to instantly be a top champ anywhere he goes, and he's got the charisma to pull off face or heel depending on how you want to use him. He can do everything from monster heel to comedy act with equal skill. Dude's gonna kill it out of WWE, who were just holding him back.

Yeah but considering Lana is also employed with the company and is a regular with that Divas ish, it's gonna be difficult for Rusev to pull a Cody and bring his wife with him.

Dolph is setting a bad example to these type of guys.

he does have an awesome name in his own right (miroslav barnyashev). I think its in his best interests to leave and boost his stock.

It's possible their contracts expire at the same time, though. Not sure when they last renewed, but they've been married a while, and I imagine most husband/wife talent duos would sign contracts of the same length for obvious reasons.
