Mauro Ranallo isn't calling this event unfortunately, Vic Joseph is taking his place.

Opportunity knocks for Vic, but that sucks. Mauro is great and makes takeover's 10x better.

Ricochet vs. Velveteen Dream
(Dream is jobber to the stars, which is a shame)

• Street Fight: Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa
(Next stop, NXT Title, i still want a Ciampa vs LeRae match though dammit)

• NXT Tag Team Championships: The Undisputed Era (c) vs. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan
 this is the most random match of the lot

• NXT Women's Championship: Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Nikki Cross
Baszler isn't losing to anyone that isn't Sane or Shirai when she signs.

• NXT Championship: Aleister Black (c) vs. Lars Sullivan
I'm sorry this is a pretty weak main event, i mean i like Sullivan but no, just no.

I'm sure this match will be great but I can't help but think of how lopsided this match is, talent wise.

I mean, Aleister Black doesn't even have a five star match, unlike FIVE STAR LARS.

I'm actually really looking forward to seeing what Lars can do in a big singles match. I think he's been pretty solid every time he's been given the opportunity, but this is his first real test.

Crowd sucked and was also great. Love the noise. Come on though, there are obvious good guys in that match, and they’re likeable and good at wrestling.

I thought the crowd was fine. They were into both teams, which isn't a problem. Undisputed Era are just really over.

Maybe at the start of the match they were only cheering for UE, but by the end they were going nuts for everything both teams did.

They were booing the faces and cheering the heels.

Love love love that women's match. Nikki has to be a thing on the main roster. They need someone different.

Hope she goes to Smackdown. They desperately need more heel depth (even though Cross is more a tweener). Too top heavy over there on the face side and too many unconvincing heels.

Dream worries me, they're making him a jobber to the stars at NXT, that does not bode well for the main roster. Would be good to see him get the North American Championship to be honest.

I actually thought that Dream showed his inexperience in that match. I thought the pacing was weird and he was a bit slow for the style. For all his abilities, he still needs work putting matches together.

Which is OK because he’s 22 and literally no one has been as talented as he is at the same age.

People his age are usually jobbers period. The fact that he's pushed this high despite being barely out of school shows how high they are on him.

Yep. Wrestling is hard.

Thought the title match was good. I know Lars screwed up a big spot, but **** happens. He was good otherwise.
