Who cares? It's not like the WWE Hall of Fame actually matters and it's already filled with people who don't deserve to be there. It's basically an excuse to have a night dedicated to nostalgia.

I think X pac is only a 2 time HOFer right now (DX and NWO) but he deserves to get in as singles. Most likely they wait until HHH or Flair is the first 3 time HOFer and then do him 10 years from now or something

Yeah, the Hall of Fame is just content for WWE. It's otherwise meaningless.

Really don't get anyone getting worked up over Hall of Fame inductees considering how many crap wrestlers are already in there.

As I said, it's an excuse for fans to relive the glory days of wrestling for a night.

Re: HOF

Eventually, everyone gets in.

Backstage is currently WWE’s best show. Punk is a wonderful addition because he literally gives no f*cks. And damn it. Baron Corbin’s interview made me start to like him.

Apparently videos have leaked of Lars Sullivan doing gay porn before he got into wrestling.

I remember vaguely him getting suspended for some homophobic comments. That combined with his anxiety issues all makes sense in a way. Many closeted men will speak out against homosexuality as a coping mechanism.

I truly feel terrible for him if this is the case. I don’t feel bad for him for making the homophobic comments, but the anxiety stuff has got to be due to this in some way, and knowing eventually this stuff will come out.

The scum of the earth AKA wrestling twitter is having a field day with it. A lot of the people outraged over the initial comments are now making lightly veiled homophobic jokes about it. The best thing for Lars is probably just to stay away from the wrestling business. It’s a garbage, cruel business regardless and he won’t be able to escape the ribbing both from fans and coworkers alike. I just hope this story doesn’t end with him hurting or killing himself.

That segment was 100% awful, mainly due to Lana’s complete lack of acting ability or charisma (Lashley was low key pretty good in it). I will say this in their defense; Jim Rome has always said “give me an A or give me an F” and they did just that. Went all in on the campy terrible b-movie feel so in that aspect it worked in a so bad its good way. The Liv Morgan reveal was an audible groan from me.

I thought Lashley was bad too -- anytime he has a mic on him, I expect a botch and he couldn't even read the lines right on the card.

Wasting Liv Morgan's return on that was trash.

genuinly **** this company

That was so damn bad, like bad in so many ways. We've finally hit peak Russo Nitro, this is how bad this was.

One of the worst wrestling segments i've ever seen and i'm not even exaggerating.

I was kinda hoping they'd have a part for Aiden English - but probably best for him they didn't. Regards/regrets for Liv - though she looked pretty, at least.

Exactly - it was sooooo bad that it was good in a campy way.

That would have actually gotten Rusev over, can't have that with Vince's vendetta to bury him ongoing (seriously, Rusev needs to get the hell out of there ASAP with Lana and go to AEW, New Japan, Impact or any promotion where they'd make half decent money).

Take a look at this...........

Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co reported that Vince McMahon was overjoyed with the execution of Monday's wedding angle featuring Bobby Lashley, Lana, Rusev and the returning Liv Morgan.

Citing a source, Davis said, "Vince has wanted to do more crazy stories like this but he has to balance things out to satisfy the people at USA [Network] and the sponsors. He got what he wanted this week and the overrun did nice numbers so Vince is in a good mood."

It has been quite some time since WWE provided its fans an angle so ridiculous, chaotic, absurd and, quite frankly, fun, that it is no surprise it did so well from a numbers standpoint. While there are almost certainly sponsors not at all thrilled with the content of the storyline, the fact that it brought more eyes to the show and, as a result, more visibility for them and their products, will ease the dissatisfaction.

The success of the program, which Showbuzz Daily reported was the highest-rated episode of Raw since September, will undoubtedly give McMahon and Co. fuel to take riskier and bolder creative chances in the new year, and the fans should benefit.

As long as WWE can reel in the absurdity without overexposing it, that is.

Truthfully, if every angle had this much attention paid to it, we'd have a better TV product to watch.

The soap opera stuff is what gets wrestling mainstream attention, the actual wrestling does not

Apparently the two presidents have been fired by Vince for difference of vision going forward and the stock price crashed (this is in combination with expected yearly and Q4 2019 profits being lower than expected, literally how i'm not sure since the tv deal kicked in this last quarter).

Revival also turned down 700k a year each (that's only about 50k per year shy of what Gallows and Anderson are each earning). I think one of two things happen.

1. They earn 7 figures each and remain in the WWE effectively doing nothing (cause its the wwe tag team division, Vince does not give a damn about tag team wrestling nowadays, which is a shame cause in the late 80's and early 90's, the tag team scene was actually really good).
2. They leave and join AEW on a big money contract and probably work in New Japan as well (AEW part is great, in New Japan, basically the same situation as WWE almost, Gedo don't care about no tag team wrestling).

Question with AEW is, if they couldn't be bothered paying Marty Scurll the big bucks to join them, what makes the revival any different (storylines aside). I could see them getting maybe 400-500k each if they're lucky, probably much less and then new japan won't really give them a ton either (probably the same or less pay than G.O.D right now).
