I'm way behind (in April) so no spoilers please, but am I the only one who thought during the HHH anniversary episode that HBK and Vince were going to turn on HHH? HBK was acting like a heel the whole time, showing how many times he lost at Wrestlemania, insulting Stephanie, etc. When Vince came out I thought HHH's party was about to be like when Tommy in Goodfellas got made (superkick+Vince kayfabe fires HHH).

If they wanted to do HHH vs HBK next Wrestlemania they couldn't make HBK turn on him a full year before. But if he turned on HHH closer to next Wrestlemania season, they could flash back to the 25th anniversary episode to show that it foreshadowed the feud and HBK resentment of HHH. That's what they did with Batista when he and HHH had a tense moment at the 1000th Smackdown anniversary episode.

Is Main Event considered WWE's best show among the main roster shows? Ziggler was on recently and Ricochet has been on too. Reviews I've read are at least adequate. I wish the matches were longer though.

:banghead:

What is the background story about this?

Does WWE want the revenues of this accounts? Do the wrestler earn a lot of money with twitch?
Or is it about having the power about their employees?

Good news: David Shoemaker says Vince is "all in" on the planned documentary.

Both Orton and Reigns are on great runs at the moment but I don't have interest in a match between them at Survivor Series. Don't know why they didn't wait until after Survivor Series to put the title on Orton because Drew vs Roman would've been money.

Survivor Series is dumb, especially this short after the draft.

The entire concept of a draft is dumb and takes away from the inherent excitement you can milk from guys/girls changing brands. It would be so much cooler if, instead of someone being drafted to Raw or Smackdown, they just showed up at the end of a show and laid out the champ, then said, "I'm on Raw now."

I just feel like WWE makes all of this so much harder than it needs to be.

Now that Biden won the presidency, I'm waiting for Andrew Yang to be named secretary of Labor. He's been saying that if he gets it, he's coming after Vince for all the rules he places on "independent contractors" everyone knows they're employees

Zelina Vega...released? Wow. How? That came out of nowhere. During the pandemic she was easily one of their bright spots, particularly and especially in the first few weeks/months; it was practically the Zelina Vega show.

I’m sure every promotion worth a damn is calling her.

She got released shortly after tweeting that she supported unionization. No doubt she did this intentionally after WWE ordered their supposed independent contractors that they could no longer use platforms like Twitch, which apparently Vega used to connect with her fans and build a following.

Seriously, f*ck WWE. What a terrible company.

But on the plus side, she'll probably sign with AEW, make just as much money, get a better role, and still be allowed to use Twitch, so overall a win for her outside of her significant other still being employed by the evil empire.

It is interesting to see if other wrestler will follow her and force their release.
Especially those wrestlers, who have no big on screen time, have now an easy opportunity to leave that company.

Agreed on both points. It was a **** move for WWE to manipulate and monopolize their talents twitch streams that way, and Vega is immensely talented and someone is going to scoop her up expeditiously.

Would love to see Aleister Black in AEW, along with Vega.

I mean it's not like they're doing anything compelling with him to begin with. I read today that he asked to go back to NXT.
