Still wondering what they're gonna have Cody do. So much for the AJ theory

Right now my money is on a tag match with Pat vs Vince and theory. Also Cody should show up before that and I think he should go after that is tittle.

I think Cody's gonna be in the WWE more for his mind and ability to speak than to be an in-ring performer. One of Cena's roles when he was a regular was to start off the show like a host. And they really don't have a rassler who can do that on more than an occasional basis. As good as Roman is, he's not a natural on the mic. And behind the scenes, he'll eventually take over one of Vince's rolls as either Chairman or CEO of WWE - now that it appears Hunter may be physically unable to handle the stressful job full-time, and Shane just doesn't seem to have the temperament for the job.

Edge might be the best promo in the business today

I really don't like his style at the moment.
Intensity does not equal good.

And I still don't get why he wants to go after AJ Styles - other than to find a spot on the Wrestlemania card. It seems too contrived. Gotta give us a reason to care. This isn't exactly looking like Punk vs MJF - with Wardlow in the wings.

Yeah the only notable interaction they had prior to this Mania was The Rumble when Edge returned

Hope they can find something like during Edge's active years all he heard outside of the company was AJ Styles in Impact, in Japan, etc along those lines. But yeah jealousy as reason doesn't cut it

I'm not sure what the angle here is. But I love edge and the match is gonna be great.

Well, 12 years ago it would have been great. I really don't know if it'll be worth watching now, tbh.

And with Miz? Honestly, I thought his matches with Orton were boring. I congratulate him for getting in great shape, but his face is hollowed out like a gaunt old man. It's about time they turned him heel to match his looks.

I'm not shocked no Cody. He wouldn't want to do that the night razor died that's not a Cody thing to do. I like edge right now. He's lost it because he was living the mastalgia tour life and not living up to how good he thinks he is. It will be interesting to see who will be this. Are they building up a hela edge to face roman for a face turn or a face AJ for a heal Roman to squash.

Welp, we got what we asked for. A logical explanation from Edge and quite frankly, it's the best justification. Add the switch in character work and entrance and it's already golden

As for Cody, I'm sensing Seth will go on a rant at Mania or Raw prior, saying they can't leave him out because he's the best, a visionary, blah blah, then a voice cuts him saying,

"A visionary, you say?"

*cue in "Whooooaaaaa!" or whatever theme would work for him

Cody Rhodes!
