I feel like Gargano has been in about six to eight of NXT's ten best all-time matches.

Going to this show in spite of not following since 'mania. That said, the names are matchups haven't changed that much!

I think AJ-Ricochet is going to be really good if it gets the time it deserves, but yeah...that sounds about right, lol.

The only Summerslam match that even has a chance is Styles/Ricochet. The rest of that card is shockingly bad.

I really enjoyed that 13 minute video package promoting the Cole/Gargano match earlier tonight on NXT tv

I am interested in this Takeover card. As for SummerSlam, it's like the main roster is actively trying to be bad these days.

Most are capable of 3 stars, which is about on par with Shirai's Takeover matches so far. For all the hype, she's been a big disappointment so far.

True, but I like this new attitude from her. I think the match will deliver. And your correct, takeover matches almost have like a floor of 3 stars. The main roster, well, they don't even have a floor it's more like a basement

Watch AJ/ricochet be meh. I told everybody that about AJ/nakamura before their match. And sure enough, it was underwhelming. That's what WWE does.

Like I said earlier, a match like Gulak vs Lorcan can and would tear the house down in any other federation. I'm talking 5 star match that has the crowd going berserk. But on WWE, I guarantee it will be on the pre-show and they'll get about 5 minutes.

Io vs Shayna steel cage match on TV was good. But I agree Shirai has been more about her high spots than good matches so far.

Drew Gulak in particular is great and has all the tools to be someone who would be over on the main roster if he were not a cruiserweight. But because the WWE so obviously considers it a lesser division, their fans don't care. This now applies to nearly all of their roster too. Like, the sheer apathy the crowd has for so much of the roster is the direct result of them making everyone feel unimportant.

I want to be excited for this show, but I just don't care to see another Cole/Gargano match. Gargano needs to leave NXT. Not really a fan of Baszler/Yim either, Yim just does nothing for me.

The rest of the card should be good hopefully. But Cole/Gargano is gonna get at least 30 minutes, probably more than that since it's 2 out of 3 falls. The other matches are gonna be shorter than usual.

Looking forward to Io and Candice. Ready to be pleased with everything else.

I think when it gets to the third fall Regal will make it loser leaves NXT.
