Tonight (10/8), the debut of NWA Powerrr takes place at 6:05pm EST. It's available on the NWA's YouTube and Facebook channels. Nick Aldis vs Tim Storm for the NWA title. Plus Eli Drake, James Storm and others will be appearing. This will be something different than what we have been seeing. Who else is going to watch?

2nd episode was just as fun as the first. They had around 500k views of the first one. Hopefully this episode gets near that.

I just checked this out... And I love it. The old school presentation/simplicity is very satisfying. Love the promos. Nick Aldis looks like a million bucks.
Don't really like the low camera angle.

I love this. What a cool idea for a show. Really great to see real wrestling promos (!) again. That Ricky Starks promo was good in a way that WWE could never produce. They're proving that you can have a show filled with promos and still make it feel like a wrestling show.
I think they'll have a hard time pulling in people unfamiliar with those 80s studio wrestling shows. It likely looks lame to that group. But I think the audience they have will be pretty dedicated. Great that this is on Youtube. They'll probably have a bunch of people binge watching from the beginning.
Random comments:
- Holy ****, that ring is loud.
- As much as Cornette nauseates me, he's obviously a huge assets for this kind of show
- Kennedy's gut is very 80s.

Just catching up on the last couple of episodes almost everything they do is great which is refreshing to see
in this day and age and just wrestling.
They've also built up quite a little impressive roster and I'm liking the new Damien Sandow. Trevor Murdoch
who I haven't seen since his WWE days a thousand years ago looks vastly improved as well. I also like
their lead announcer/main interviewer guy he plays the stereotypical beta male geeky wrestling announcer
well.
They'd be great on TV but the wrestling market is so over saturated right now I don't know if they could succeed
right away. It's gonna be interesting to see them evolve.

NWA is having a “PPV” this Saturday. Main event is Aldis vs Storm, best of 3 falls. Anyone else going to be watching?

probably will but its clear Aldis will win (unfortunately, the one thing that i don't really like about the NWA right now), can't see him losing until probably Eli Drake takes the belt (hopefully).

You’re probably right, but if he were to lose soon, you gotta think it would be at the PPV. I don’t think they would have him drop it at the tapings.
Aldis has grown on me. I like him as the champ now

Was watching the NWA and Marty Scurll rocked up. Apparently he has a one show deal, which is interesting.

He will be on the show tomorrow as well. While, I don’t think he’ll be in the NWA for a long time. It was nice to see him pop up. The only bad thing about the NWA/ROH thing ending, was not seeing the end of the Scrull/Aldis storyline

I think its possible he could do NWA and AEW potentially as well (at least short term), i only say that as New Years Day debut for Scurll makes the most sense.

Aldis showed up at ROH Center Stage last night. Looks like NWA/ROH are working together in some way.

It would seem so, that should be a good deal and hopefully means Scurll becomes NWA champ (cause i just want the thing off Aldis tbh, he does nothing for me).

I like what NWA is doing.
The product has a retro vibe and feel, with a rich history to back it up. The emphasis is more on wrestling - and presenting it as pro wrestling - and less on 'sports entertainment' and soap opera fantasy.
I wish they didn't get rid of Cornette, though. If they wanted to suspend him for a month or something, fine, whatever.
