Ok. . . This is not gonna work. He doesn't come off as is he is talking to the crowd, but rather reading cue cards. no charisma. no nothing. This will fail.

When it was announced last week, I thought it had potential. But if he's going to be this tweener GM who just makes unusual matches then its not going to work. He's got to really carve out a unique niche for his charachter an obvious idea would be the dunce GM who is controlled by the heels like Jericho and JBL.

I like Mike Adamle for some reason, even going back to his American Gladiator days. He just comes across as a likable guy. He's not setting the world on fire, but I'll take him as GM over the rehashed William Regal GM storyline or Vince McMahon hogging the spotlight any day of the week.

It's actually pretty interesting. He's done a lot of stuff where he's come off as a face, but people are really booing him still. It's a total blur as to whether he's heel or face right now, and fun to watch. I root for the guy :P

Were almost two months into the experiment, and I think its had mixed results. I thought the Championship scramble matches were kind of a mixed bag, I didn't really like the Raw match, I thought the Smackdown match was alright but I thought the ECW match was excellent. Kind of the reverse of what you would think it would be.

But I still haven't seen him carve out that niche of who he is as a charachter.

The only reason he has the GM spot is because they paid him a ton of cash to come to the WWE, and he was a TOTAL failure as a play by play guy. He botched both wrestlers names and the names of moves. He was just terrible in that regard.

But i think he can make the GM work for him, he just needs to get more comfortable being a character and not a guy with a mic.

On a side note, the WWE needs let announcers speak freely. Vince is on a mic in their ears telling them what to say and because of it the program sounds scripted and cliched. Lawler is a shill looking for his last pay checks now, and Cole is a company stooge who is a lifeless broadcaster. The best thing they had was Foley, but he left because of the micro management. Vince needs to take his head out of his ass and let the talent venture into different areas (both on the mic and off)

Vince needs to stop having complete control over everything, period. The storylines suck, the announcing sucks. Everything sucks.
