John Cena Injured

Post#1 » by Bucky O'Hare » Tue Aug 26, 2008 9:52 am

411 Mania wrote:Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that John Cena is currently suffering from severe neck issues, which have started to cause numbness in one of his arms. Cena had an MRI done on Saturday before the show in Madison Square Garden. When he returned to the arena and people asked how he was, Cena replied, "Long story short, my neck is f*cked up badly."

The matches involving John Cena over the weekend were changed to tag matches, and the reason Batista carried most of the load. As of now, it is not known if Cena is going to take time off.

Update: John Cena is set to be examined by Dr. Lloyd Youngblood in San Antonio, TX on Wednesday. Youngblood has performed neck surgey on many WWE stars including Steve Austin, Edge, and Lita. There is a fear that Cena's injury is far worse than just the herniated disc mentioned on RAW.

Major injury. Looks like there's a good chance he's gonna be out over a year.

I feel bad for John Cena, I really do. I don't consider myself one of those smart marks whose reflexively anti-Cena. I think he's the biggest star the WWE has, but he's been used like crap since he came back at the Rumble. I think this is the best thing for his career. Now when he came backs a year from now, hopefully his charachter will be re-booted a bit and he can be the star he should be

I've only caught maybe 3-4 shows over the last 2 months, or so, but I hope he gets well soon. This type of injury pretty much ended Stone Cold's career, hopefully it won't do the same to him.

He had surgery yesterday and it's now being reported he'll only be out for 2-4 months.

they'll never bring him back as a heel. They want the HUGE POP his return will bring.

If Cena goes back as a heel I will never watch wrestling again.
