Would y'all be surprised if it's in the script for Batista to turn on Tripe H, and create a rivalry between those two? I also think that Shane McMahon may turn on Triple H and join Legacy, and be billed as another "3rd generation" superstar--even though he isn't an acting wrestler per se.

So who turns on Triple H? Batista, Shane, or neither?

I'd say Shane, Batista makes since but he will probably feud with Orton soon over what happened when Orton punted him. After the way the draft played out it's really hard to say, now that HHH is on RAW maybe he and Batista form a stable?

Backlash is less than 2 weeks away and we still don't really know anymore matches, besides another Hardy vs. Hardy match maybe.

With Batista coming back I wouldn't be surprised to see Trips turn heel once this Orton storyline plays itself out. Raw needs another top heel with Jericho gone and Trips has talked about wanting to turn heel again.

I can't stand HHH but he is def. at his best as a heel.

That's part of the reason he's a great heel. There are certain guys like Jericho who are great heels just because their damn good at their job. But Edge benefitted from the fact that many fans genuinely don't like him after the Matt Hardy situation, same thing with Orton and all of his shenanigans, and same thign with Trips as there's definitely a view that Trips holds down younger wrestlers.

A fourth match Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy in an I QUIT Match has been added to the card. They are still going to need a few more matches it would seem.

4 matches definitely isn't enough, I'm guessing we'll have a make-shift IC and US Title match like Miz v. Chavo v. Kofi Kingston v. MVP and then R-Truth v. Shelton v. John Morrison v. Rey. Neither of them will see a title change but its a nice way to fill time.

I'll make some predictions, which are half what I expect and half what I want to see.

Christian v. Jack Swagger-If I thought the WWE thinks rationally then I'd say Christian wins this match. He shows up on the minor league show with no fan fare, he's been in and around the ECW title picture but hasn't really had anything consistent. He loses this match and you potentially kill any momentum he has. So although I half don't expect to be right, I'm going with Christian.

Jeff vs Matt: It seems like the rumor that it was supposed to be Christian as the attacker is proving to be true as maybe its just me but this feud hasn't had the juice you'd expect. I think Matt probably wins this match so he can head to Raw and be a top heel.

Trips, Batista and Shane v. Legacy: My guess is Legacy wins this match via swerve. The questions is who swerves, since Trips is the champ he can't be it. Although, he'd be the best heel of the three. If its someone joining legacy than Shane would make sense. But I'm saying its Batista, storyline-wise it makes the most sense and it would give Raw a very nice long-term feud and one we haven't seen in a few years.

Edge v. Cena-Logic suggests Edge come out on top so Smackdown can have a title. But I feel like the Last Man Standing stipulation makes it almost a likelihood that Mr. MITB CM Punk walks out champ. It just sets up perfectly, Cena wins and doesn't look weak, you get an 'oh my god moment' and you instantly set up an Edge-Punk feud that could be long-term.

Chris Jericho vs Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat has been added to this Sunday's Backlash PPV.

I hope this Legends angle is almost over, I'm getting sick of seeing this!

Christ did Backlash absolutely own. Completely sh*t all over Mania in every way. Orton became the champ (I was counting with the ref after Orton hit the punt, haven't done that in a long time), Christian became the champ and Edge became the champ in yet another classic Edge/Cena match. The ending to Edge/Cena has a huge HOLY SH*T spot.

Jericho beat Steamboat in a pretty good match, Kane beat Punk and Jeff beat Matt. I'd say the "weakest" match was the I Quit Match but it was still pretty good.

Usually Backlash is one of the weakest PPV's of the year, this year it could end up being one of the best.
