Remembering the jobbers
Bert Centeno, Russ Greenberg, Duane Gill, Barry Hardy, Kerry Davis, "Iron" Mike Sharp, Vito Cruz, and Barry Horowitz. Even the Hardy's were jobbers at one point. Does anyone remember these wrestlers? I started watching wrestling in Summer of 1992. I didn't have cable at the time so Superstars of Wrestling and Pay-Per-Views were for the most part the only wrestling I got to see. Superstars was the first show I'd look forward to every week. I wish they'd bring more of the jobber matches back personally.

A jobber is a wrestler who basically loses every match. The wrestlers you listed weren't that great at one time, but I wouldn't say they were jobbers.

Actually, he was pushed fairly well even during the Rocky Maivia days. Won the Survivor Series match he was in, when he was the last member against 3 members, I think. It was in Montreal, so I remember it vaguely. Then people got fed up with his gimmick and that's how The Rock came about.
Bret Hart jobbed when he first started out in the WWF. Then they finally put him with Neidhart and Jimmy Hart and the rest is history. Justin Credible was a massive jobber with the PJ Walker/Aldo Montoya gimmick in the WWF.
I can't remember much of Hunter Hearst Hemsley, as I hated him and didn't bother to watch his matches (minus his match with Warrior and his feud with Ahmed Johnson). Turns out I still can't stand him to this day
